Joseph Stringer
As the death record you included shows, Joseph died on 10 Dec 1903, not 5 Mar 1901. In 1908, his old farm became the Grand Lawn Cemetery, and his son William Joseph itís first superintendent. His son Charles Alfred originally had Joseph buried at the Woodlawn cemetery, where he had his first wife re-interred from her original burial up in Hancock. Charles and his second wife (his first wifeís younger sister), were eventually buried at the Woodlawn Cemetery. After William Joseph then had his father Joseph re-interred at the Grand Lawn Cemetery as itís first burial.

Carol, I left an edit for you. This infant would be a cousin to my father, Edward Draves. I sent you Gustav's parents memorial numbers so you can connect them.

Carol - Have looked at Seeking Michigan, family trees, the Family Search site and find nothing to document this. If you have something to prove the connection and possible name charge please add to find a grave and I will make the edits. All the death certificates show John Senusky.

The Lady in Black
RE: Sam Nappo
Hi:

Check your edit tab on your profile page. I sent you an edit with the birth date and death place. I got the information form familysearch.org (Michigan Death index). If you look on familysearch on the census records, it looks like most of the family Americanized their names, as they are different from what is on the stone.

Woodmere is a mess. Was over there Wednesday, and they were picking up all of the fallen trees/branches from Friday's storm. Near the Nappo monument, there were several big branches that fell from the big tree in that section. No damage to anything, but in one of the sections that parallels Woodmere street, a huge tree fell. Every section has at least one big branch down. Was talking to one of the grounds crew, and he said they'd been working non-stop. Every available vehicle was hauling branches, leaves and debris.

Thanks for the kind words. I do what I can, when I can, within my limitations. We can but try!

Regards,
TLIB

History on Clara Ott
Hello Carol - Thanks so much for posting picture regarding Clara Ott. I am doing a family tree and have run into a snag. I wondered if you have any information regarding Clara? I am trying to determine whether she was the Clara Ott that was married to my Great Grandfather Frederick Trietch. I really appreciate any information that you may be able to share with me.

Sincerely,
Teri Downs
