RE: Manville / Middle Patent
Having problems with both addresses (postmaster@primus is sending error messages that your mailbox is full or can't handle file size). Re-sent to each email address in hopes that one of them will work. If all else fails, I'll have to resize the photos to something smaller--let me know if I need to try that.

Photo removed. Did you get the emailed photos? Having issues with my mail server, so may have to re-send them if you didn't.

Will do this later to-day. Really, I was thrilled to have found it--I believe I may have even given a little shriek of excitement, which I'm sure perturbed the guy visiting a grave in the next section over.

Posted a (hopefully) clearer photo of the marker. If you'd like, I can email you uncropped photos, which you can enlarge with your own photo editing software. You'd have to post your email address in a message (which I promise I'll delete right away), and I can send a couple of uncropped photos to you.

Happy to help. It was an adventure fnding it!

Yes, there were a couple other Manvilles. They're already posted. Will transfer them to you if you'd like. Photo of Ella's marker is a little blurry (new camera), so I may end up going back in a week or so. I'll post the one I have in a few minutes.

Very happy to have found it. I was really surprised how well the area had been cleared by the groundskeepers, especially after several bad storms in recent months.

Victory! Shubbery is gone, and I got a shot of her individual marker. Unfortunately, Find-A-Grave says I can't add the photo as there are too many already posted on her memorial. Only way to do it is to either remove the larger grave marker photo or have you sponsor the memorial (which costs $5 US, I think). Let me know what you want me to do.

I'll add the other memorials from that plot if they're not already on Find-A-Grave.

Thanks for your kind wishes. Wrist is much better. I've just been crazy busy with work, school and moving. Hope to get to Middle Patent one of these days, and will see if I can get a better photo.

I forgot to mention that the gravesite is located in Section 37. River Bend is a large cemetery (several acres). It is very pretty, located along the Pawcatuck River and a favorite place for people who like to walk and run on the winding paths. There is a place on the memorial page for you to add the section number, if you like. The photos are done...have a great day! Jane

I just finished photographing the family monument and the three individual footstones for Richard, Natalie and Audrey Dower. Before I upload the photos, would you like to set up individual memorials for Audrey and Natalie? If you do, you can link all of the three family members together and I will upload the monument and individual footstone for each one. The other option would be to just upload one monument photo plus the three footstones on Richard's memorial. Whatever you decide, just let me know when they are ready and I will go ahead. I haven't forgotten. Broke my wrist recently, so won't be able to do photos for a couple of months. Hope to get back there in, say, June.

Hard to describe the area. There's a large bush that must have been planted on top of the grave, right in front of the marker with names. Marker is a long wedge-shaped stone with two? names; may be three names. Impossible to actually photograph it, or even get a good look, without actually digging up the bush! I think the bush is some type of evergreen, so no chance of it losing its foliage in the winter. The photo I posted had to be taken at that angle as there's very little room between the low marker and the larger family stone. Will try to get you a photo of the area next time I'm over there, although that may not be for awhile.

Very pleased to have found the grave-had made a few passes through the area before without seeing it.
