RE: SFC Helen Kuga
Hello, I do not know if 1SG Kuga served in Vietnam or not. She was my 1SG at Ft. Ritchie Md. I tried to find her for years to tell her I made 1SG just like she said I would. I was sad to find her obit. instead of her.

I found a friend of mine who possibly served in Vietnam as well.

That is a great idea. Thank your. However, how do you know which plot he is in? Is there some sort of cemetery map I can use? I am new to findagrave.com, so any information would be helpful.

Cricket,
I did some poking around at the library and found a short article about her death. I'll email it over to you shortly. Not a lot of info but it does have her married name...perhaps you can add it to her memorial.

Good luck and thanks for your service.

Jim

Thank you so much Marsha. I will try that web site. Thank you for your work in these cemeteries. It helps so many people who live too far away to visit and check for themselves. I know you will be repaid for all the people you have helped. Betty

Barton Cemetery
Hi Marsha, I saw you had listed someone buried in the Barton Cemetery in Colbert Co. AL and I wanted to contact you and ask if you have researched that cemetery. There are several people I have been researching that I believe are buried in the Barton Cemetery, however, they are not listed on Find A Grave. If you have worked that cemetery and have a list of those buried there you may have more info on burials there. I will appreciate any help you may have. Thank you. Betty

I am so sorry. On her son's memorial John henry Hammons is listed as his father, but after your first reply I took another look and that is the only place he is listed. He is not listed as her husband - my mistake. Thank you so much for all you have done and please forgive my error.
