Evans in Woodlawn
Was able to get some info from office; there records indicate no individual stones in this 6 plot family gravesite. There are 2 rows of three; the first row (closest to the curb edge of Observatory) are numbered 4, 5 and 6. The second row, directly behind the first are numbered 1,2, and 3. The snow on Observatory is currently knee-deep.
1 There is no one buried in this plot according to the records.
2 There is no one buried in this plot according to the records.
3 A Richard M. Campbell, age 5 mos., burial 2/13/86, in a marble case is located here.
4 Henry C Evans, age 59, and Isabel Campbell Evans, age 74 years are located here.
5 Richard Campbell, age 45 years, is located here.
6 Mary C. Campbell, age 51 years, buried in a brick grave, is located here.

The family stone has no markings on three sides. Only Richard and Mary C appear on the front of the stone.

RE: Isabel Evans
I will look for both Richards when I go. Currently we are under a snowfall that left about 8" in the Bronx so finding stones in Woodlawn is on hold until some of the snow melts and/or they clear the roads well. There are 2 more storms due in this week.

I have no memorials for anyone. I simply take photographs for others at the cemeteries in my community. I think you have me confused with someone else.

You're very welcome! I see that Willie isn't linked to the other Carles - you can ask the memorial manager to link him.

My pleasure, and thank you for the thanks!
I also took photos of the other Carle family in the group, so you can see them by doing a Carle search of the cemetery.
Thanks again!

RE: Campbell Stones
I misspoke slightly when I said there were only 2 stones on lot 2133--I meant that there are only 2 CAMPBELL stones on the lot. Lot 2133 is one of a group of conjoined lots. The Campbells rest on what appears to be the McLEOD (Mrs. Campbell) family lot. The names McLeod, Tamlyn, Kimberly, Mosher, Cobb, and others appear on stones in these lots. But only 2 Campbell stones.

Have a great day! :)
