Thank You so much for taking the time to do what you're doing. I don't live close enough to go visit my grandparents grave sites but because of you visiting different cemetery's and taking pictures of the different plots/grave sites I'm able to see both set of my Grandparents burial sites.
THANK YOU AGAIN!

Tom Browning
Holland-Boggs-Moody-Humphries connection
Hi,

I'm working on my Moody side of the family. I Geraldine was a 2nd cousin to me. My dad, Bill 'Boom Boom' Browning was her cousin. Any info you may have on the Moody-Humphries connection would be greatly appreciated. I know where Tena and John are buried as well as my Clem. I have been unable to locate Joseph W. Thanks for any info you can share.

Transferring of Denton relatives
Hi..is there any way you could transfer the Denton Relatives that are at Columbus Confederate Cemetery in Columbus, Hickman County, Ky. to me. Samuel, Edna and the other are from my Mother's side of the family. And Samuel Monroe Denton is my Great-Grandfather. And Edna A. Denton is my Great-Grandmother. There are a few Uncles and Aunts and cousins that reside in that cemetery as well. Thank you for taking their headstone photos. You can imagine my surprise when I found out them were there...all these years we thought that they were at a Denton Family Cemetery. smile.

Picture Usage
Greetings.
Thank you for taking to time to locate, photograph and then share pictures of gravemarkers in your area. You have posted a picture of a distant relative, Sarah Carson Jones Montgomery. I would like use this photograph in my personal family tree file. I use these photos as an additional source document documenting the lives of my ancestors and their descendents.
I will so note that the picture is from: Find A Grave Contributor: Lonnie Mahan #47391355.
Thank you again for your time & effort, I do appreciate it very much.

RE: Transfers and corrections
Thanks for all the transfers and corrections I submitted to you. I feel a bit guilty when I do this, but as you say correct info is important. I always think someone is going to take the attitude "Hasn't this guy got anything better to do than critic the work I took the time to do".
I have a website of my own and I appreciate corrections as well. Sometimes after spending long periods of time putting data in, we are all prone to making mistakes. If you are interested have a browse around it
http://peitiger.tribalpages.com/
Also as for the transfers, a great big thank you and when I do find this info on a relative I just hope that the person that puts it up and manages it is not related to the individual, so the chance of a transfer is more favourable. I only wish when it is another relative that there was a way they could link names of relatives who could be listed as sub managers under the main one.
I still work for a living but my hope when I retire is to do more of this type of work as it is a passion to me.

Resthaven Cemetery Photo Request
Hi,

You made a photo request on Find A Grave in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. This cemetery is ENORMOUS, so to get a photo a plot location is needed. Please contact the funeral home: wecare@resthavenokc.com

The funeral home charges non-family members (office walk-ins - like me)to do plot location lookups, so please mention your relationship. When you have the plot number, add it in the PLOT box (if you own the memorial). If you don't own the memorial, send me an email with the information.

Good Luck,
Kim

I am located in Red Deer. If you are still interested in a picture I can go do that for you. Just that we have a lot of snow right now, so would be best if I went in the spring. Just thought I would check if you still need a picture.

Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland
Pvt Billy J. Davis
Pvt Billy J. Davis was a Ranger with the Ranger Battalion. He was killed on 10 July 1943 in Gela (Sicily) during D-Day of the so called operation Husky, allied invasion of Sicily.

After his death he was buried in the temporary American cemetery GELA (Sicily) in plot-grave C-25-289.

After the war his remains were repatriated.

You took a picture of his grave and I would like to ask your permission to use your picture for my book about the temporary Gela cemetery I am writing, of course you will will be credited. Hope to have the book finished next year July for the 70th anniversary of operation Husky.

Over 1,200 young American men and women were buried in this cemetery between 1943 and 1949.

If you may have documentation about his death or may have his picture, hope you are wiling to share this with me

thank you, you will be notified again when the book is finished.
