|Alma Sanford||Jacob Miller & Elizabeth Orndorff Miller|
I have just discovered the graves of my great-great grandparents Jacob Miller & Elizabeth Orndorff Miller are located in Old Red Oak Cemetery inLogan County, KY. I see you have a note requesting a picture of their tombstones.. I was born on Orndorff Mill Road in Logan County in what was formerly known as Red Oak (changed to Oakville, KY). I was looking through some of my Mother's Boyd family Bible records and found lots of records. I now live in Nashville, TN about 90 minutes from Logan County's Genealogical Archives and I often visit there to do research. I will travel out to the Old Red Oak Cemetery and take a picture of the graves of Jacob and Elizabeth as soon as I get a chance.
Jacob's father was Wendel Miller (f/n/a Johan Wendel Mueller) of Germany who came to Rowan County, N.C. My daughter visited his grave this week and sent pictures. John Miller was by Wendel's first wife who was a Blackfoot Indian. See Find A Grave #63318121 for more information. Note: The grave of the Indian common-law wife is lost although my daughter visited the site where the GPS location indicated it was located, along with the son whose birth 'killed' his mother Red Fern and both were buried in a common grave near a small stream in Rowan County, N.C.
I will find more about Elizabeth Orndorff Miller's family and get back to you. Alma Sanford Find A Grave #48481657

|kal239||Kilcullen's at Mount Olivet|
I just wanted to let you know that I took a quick spin through Mount Olivet this morning and didn't see anything as I drove around. We've still got some snow on the ground, and it is pretty cold, so this is going to involve some walking around. Happy to do a more thorough search on a day when the weather is more cooperative! -Kristen

|Amy Waldron||Ennis Cemetery|
Hi Patty, I've been looking to fulfill photo requests near my location and came across this one from you. It only says "Unknown"; no name, dates, nothing. Do you have any more information on the person you're trying to find? I'll certainly help if I can. -- Amy W.

|Diane Pemerton Knight||Ufins Kissee Bolar|
I am not connected directly to this branch of Kissee, someone from that part of the Kissee family gave me the info that Ufins was a name for a female and that on the census of it being a son was a mistake, I don't know could not find any info myself on Ancestry.com and other sites about a Ufins Kissee Bolar. If you find anything please let me know. Diane Pemerton Knight, great granddaughter of Charlotte Temple Kissee Pemberton

|Mark's Mom||RE: McGlyn|
I am so sorry Patty, I posted the picture of the cemetery gates, I didn't think it would take the photo request away, so I submitted another request. Please let me know if you would like me to transfer ownership over to you. I hope to go back to Goldfield and take lots more pictures. I took that picture a few years back, I hope you don't mind.

|L Lawson||Michael McGlynn|
Hello. I visited the Goldfield Cemetery in Goldfield, NV last week. I looked for the grave of Michael McGlynn but was unable to find it. Most of the graves have no marking other than a simple wooden cross without any engraving.
While in Goldfield I also visited the courthouse looking for help in locating the graves of 2 of my family members. The clerk told me the funeral records were the best bet because they sometimes list cemetery section, row and grave number.
I found Michael McGlynn's funeral record. It states that he was buried in the Sacred Heart section, also known as the Catholic section, but it did not list the row and grave, so it would be hard to find his grave at this time. I made a copy of his funeral record and would be happy to send it to you. It lists some vital information about his dates of birth and death and other info about his parents. Please let me know if you want it. My email address is email@example.com.
BTW, I found a local man who helped me find my 2 family members even though there were only simple wooden crosses with no names on their graves. This was only possible because the funeral records listed the section, row and grave number. This local man has developed a system to find unmarked graves by using those with proper headstones as landmarks. He is marking all unknown graves in Goldfield with simple stones as he can identify them. Although he tried to help me find Michael McGlynn last week and was unable to do so, as he continues to locate and mark graves he may be able to find him in the future. I can also send you his contact information so that, in the future, if he is able to identify Michael McGlynn, he can let you know. - Lisa Lawson

|Myrtle Ennis||George Ennis Cemetery|
George Ennis Cemetery on the old George Ennis homestead--those that are known to be buried here are 1) George Ennis 2) Knox Robinson 3) tombstone for Adeline Ross Robinson but believe she remarried after Knox died and is buried else where
4) Wiley Campbell. photos taken 1988
This cemetery no longer exists--tombstones and a small building were bulldozed into a nearby pond.
Sorry these are the only photos I have of this cemetery--but none for the individual tombstones--Myrtle Mandane Ennis--George Ennis was my gg grandfather--his son William Tennant Ennis also son of George's second wife Matilda Allcock is my great grandfather and I live on W. T.Ennis land that has been in the family over 150 years in Warren Co, Ky. Are we kin?

You are very welcome. I didn't know if you noticed, but I also added Joe & Dixie Blankenship as well. They weren't right next to Edna, but one grave away.

You are welcome, i am new at this and the glenn wood cemetary is a big place and i pretty much got lucky when i found this one. One thing i learnd is to look in to the buriel records of the cemetary at the library or on line before you go off searching such a big place...

No problem at all. I have all Echota stones on my computer. If you need any more, holler. Keep in mind however, many are unnamed with just stones.
