I believe you have Ella P. Armstrong listed in the wrong Forest Hill Cemetery. Your show her as being buried in Forest Hill-South and that cemetery was not established until 1962 (she died in 1927). I believe she should be in the Forest Hill-Midtown Cemetery, which is the original Forest Hill Cemetery.

They do not have names posted at the cemetary yet, but I will keep checking back and make sure you had the right lot. I am new to this, but am glad to help when I can.

Bertha Lavinia Boles Wine Clifton

Please link parent of Bertha Lavinia (Boles) Wine Clifton to her parents (below)

John Sampson Boles 1871 1964, Find A Grave Memorial# 40061887
Sarah Lavada (Sadie) Camp 1879 1960, Find A Grave Memorial# 40061794

I cannot submit a linkage request (through the edit relationship link), as there is a pending update to Berthas relationship record, that hasn't be Accepted or Rejected by you, as yet.

Anyway. Thank you for your follow-up email.

I've been doing tree research for a good friend, and I've found most of her family within the last 4 generations.

Thank you for all that you do. Many people benefit from, and appreciate your efforts. And a few of us, especially appreciate you, as we know how much effort it actually takes!

I maintain many memorials for my family, and find that I spend at least 10 hours weekly, just updating memorials with additional information.

But we both must find it rewarding, 'cause we keep doing it, eh?

Warm Regards,

Edward A. Mallang 3rd.

Mildred Thomas
Mrs. Thomas is buried in Chapel Hill Single-South Sq. 18, Grave 8. I walked this small section twice and found no marker for her. Sorry. I added a pic of the section.

Jessie Raymond Paschell
Mr. Paschell is buried under the name of Raymond. He is in the Typographical Union lot and has no personal marker. No one in the lot does. I added a few pictures of the marker for the lot.

Dwight Thomas
Unfortunately, Mr. Thomas has no marker. He is buried in Chapel Hill Public Lot #4, Sp 371. I recently photographed every visible stone in this section and added them to Find A Grave. Records show Mr. Thomas's grave as unmarked. I've added a picture of the section.

Did not see her buried in the Nolen plot. I will check the Paschall plot next trip to Fairview. If I find her I will post a pic.

I just saw your old message and made the change. I also deleted where it said "bad photographer." I didn't write that!

RE: Alonzo Warrington
Hi, Celesta.

Thanks so much for responding!

You send an email to edit at findagrave dot com (have to write it this way to avoid spam spiders bombarding their email). In it, you copy-and-paste the actual URL from the address bar, not the memorial number, for each memorial. Be sure to say "Merge this one: (yours)
into this one: (in the correct cemetery)

Edit doesn't look up memorial numbers; they get several thousand a day and it makes a couple of unnecessary steps. That's why the URL.

To request management of the original, contact the person who now has it through the "Edit" tab on the memorial. Even if they choose not to transfer, you can save it to a virtual cemetery where you can visit it easily as often as you want.

I do so very much appreciate your cooperative effort. People like you make this site work!

Best wishes, Suzanne

RE: John Franklin Clifton (1874-1939)
I found the stone for the memorial with J. F. Clifton 1874-1989.

It is in the area east of the one that has the names Frank and Cassie Clifton on it.

Still no answer on why there are two stones in different areas.

RE: William Eustice Jr (1841-1858)
I will go back and check again. Perhaps it is on the back or else nearby.

I believe that we have Eustice's in my husband's family. They were from Galena, IL. I will ask his aunt.

RE: Fred Stephens
There was no grave marker for Fred Stephens, so I used the flowers to signify where the grave is located.

RE: John Franklin Clifton (1874-1939)
I have not seen his stone that I remember. I would guess that it is in the older part and I have not photographed it yet.

I enjoy fulfilling requests because it lets me know that I have helped someone with their genealogy research. If you find that some of the memorials that I have created in Rocky Comfort Cemetery are your relatives, I would be happy to transfer their memorials to you.

Thanks for your patience with me as I posted your requests. Still don't know why the photos did a little disappearing act for us.

That brought such a smile to my face. That is the reason I spend so many hours on here entering data. If there is information you would like to add, we can do that. Or if you would like the transfers, that can be arranged also!! Thank you so much for your glowing remarks. Makes me so happy that all this helped you so much. :D :D
