RE: Missing Dates, Names, etc.
Thank you for your message. I must point out, when I post a photo on someone else memorial, I can't make changes to that memorial. Only the person that created it can make changes.

I will not be making any more mistakes as my health will not allow me to get out.

Regards,

You're welcome! If you need any other photos taken in Richmond Mo, let me know and I'll try to help. I am hoping to go back down there tomorrow morning. I have family buried in the City Cemetery, Sunny Slope, Woodland, and Memory Gardens and still need to go get photos!

Done. I used an old cemetery transcript for this cemetery, and I've since found a lot of inaccurate spellings. Thank you for letting me know, I'm always happy to correct them.

Hi Tom,

FYI: I was going to follow up with you on your comments you sent me for photos for Mahlon and Emma Traylor's memorials. Another contributor has already posted a photo on their memorials for you.

That is a terrible picture, isn't it. I'm sorry and if I get to Concord again, I'll redo it. I no longer have the original picture, but checked with the cemetery book and the dates/age agrees with what it has.
Please let me know if I can be of further help.

RE: 83332021
Both William and Coral are buried in Memorial Park Cemetery. When the memorial for William was made it was accidentally put in Oak Hill Cemetery. His memorial needs to be changed to be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Park A is in Memorial Park Cemetery and not even remotely close to the sections used in Oak Hill Cemetery which uses numbers for sections.

I have both of William & Coral's photos but I also have a photos of them together on the same stone.

If you are not the one who set the memorial page up or manage it, you may have to create a new memorial page in Memorial Park Cemetery for William. I will be more than happy to upload the photo again if necessary.

Coral J Sheppard just passed away in 2011 and they have already got her plaque mounted on the stone. Death date of 18 Nov 2011.

I hope this helps clear things up. If not I can give you a website if you want to email me and I can give it to you where you can verify that both of them are actually in Memorial Park buried together.

RE: 83332021
If you could move the cemetery from Oak Hill to Memorial then you could put his wife Coral J photo request in too. They actually are on the same stone but Coral J is on top and William J Sheppard is on the lower half. It is a very nice stone, different from most.

I found the obituary! I posted it on his memorial. I'll also transfer his memorial to you in case you want to do more with it.

You're correct about the date. I pulled my information off of the transcriptions done on in the 1980s because the stone was worn. I just checked the DAR recordings done in the 1930s, and they record the dates as "Born Oct. 1, 1827, Died Jan. 1, 1884." I made the correction.

I would need to pull the microfilm for 1884. I work at the library, though, so I might be able to do it this weekend before we open.

Fountain Umfleet
I happened to have a picture of Fountain Umfleet's marker shot last fall that was never posted. I've added it for you. I'll see if I can find an obituary in the local papers this weekend. I've also added the connection to S.A. Umfleet.

photos of Mt Muncie
Hi,
I'm getting ready to email you a list of the Wolf/Purcell family I found today.
Will try to organize the pictures and get them on tomorrow or Monday. I created 6 memorials that weren't on, so if you'd like me to transfer any of them to you, will do.
Joyce
p.s. Your mom did good!

RE: Photo Grave Stones
I got your directions. They did come out disconnected when I printed them but I used the Irfan View program and it printed great. I have it all organized together.....feel like I'm on a treasure hunt, so exciting! Now I'm just waiting for the snow/rain to clear up and a sunny day so I can get some good photos.
Later, Joyce

RE: Photo Grave Stones
Sure, Mount Muncie is right next to Leav Natl. Just do your requests and then send me the locations at In2Paws@yahoo.com
It's a big cemetery so I'll need the section location.

Photo request - Leav Natl
Hi, I just claimed your photo request. I looked him up on the National Database and they have him listed as Feroinano Marchefki.
I noticed that you requested one first from Fort Leav Natl Cemetery and that you listed a DOB and DOD. Is this a relative of yours? If so, you can request a transfer of his memorial by clicking on the "edit" button at upper right of memorial, state you are a relative and want a transfer to add DOB,DOD, etc. and give your Find A Grave member number which is at the right of your name on your profile page. Then you can put in his information and maintain. If you are not a relative, you can edit and give them the information you have and they will add it.

I see you're from Gilbert. My brother lives in Chandler, my niece in Queen Creek, and we often winter in Mesa. Wish I was out there now, we live in Kansas.
Hope to have your photo in the next few days as we're experiencing a lot of fog right now.
Joyce
