Sandra Burgess Robertson
Abigail Parrish Dees FAG 100442303
Hi Marietta,
You sent me an email in Dec 2012 regarding the family of Addie Dees Robertson (my husband's grandmother). The death date for Abigail Parrish Dees is 1894 but you put a note that the date is questionable because he married Frances Walker Dees in 1888. Do you know where you found their marriage date? I have been unable to locate it. I found the marriage record for Andrew Jackson and Abigail but not for "Jack" and Frances. Also. I have not found a DOD or burial place for Daniel Bartow Dees. Do you happen to know it? Also, I was recently contacted by re: the Robertson family. Her grandmother was Mary B. Parrish who I believe was the daughther of Charles Franklin Parrish who was your line. Another cousin? I would appreciate any additional information you can give me regarding my questions. Thanks.

Otis Parrish
Thank you so much for posting the Parrish family headstones. My father, Otis, the son of Marlene Parrish, is named after her older brother who passed away prior to my father's birth, and is named in the elder Parrish's honor. My grandmother is also the twin to Myrtle Parrish who sadly passed away 5 months after her birth in September 1941. This was something I was completely unaware of until I came across the photo of the headstone you had posted and saw they had the same date of birth. My Mimi Marlene is a fantastic, strong woman, and had there been two of her, they could have ruled the world. I can't thank you enough for what I've learned about my family in just a few clicks.

RE: Lydia Knecht
This entry was made at the request of a Knecht family member who contacted me, who did not have a Find A Grave membership because they were certain she was buried here. As I searched this family, Lydia was found in 1910 in Lind, Adams, Washington along with her husband, Wilhelm (William) (1845-1919). Their son, Theodore, is buried in Lind Cemetery.

I have moved Lydia into a virtual cemetery until her actual burial location can be found somewhere in Adams County, Wash.

Thanks for the photos you are taking in this cemetery and for checking with the sexton. Someday, both Wilhelm & Lydia's final burial location will be found!

Thank you for your message. I grew up in Warden among many Jeske family members. I'll reach out to confirm their final resting place. -- Linda

Grave Markers
I am interested in either replacing Mary Ann Shining's headstone or combining Albert Sherman and Sena Bell Rinker's headstone. Could you tell me the left to right order of Mary Ann Shining, Albert & Sena Bell Rinker, Jules Rinker, and Mary C. Liles. If I remember correctly they are next to each other in a long line.

Could you please give me the phone number of who to contact regarding cemetery grave marker requirements. Thanks, Jackie Eastwood

Hi. I'm the great grandson of Daisy Mae and William Walter Allen. I was wondering if you would transfer her memorial to me, and also wondered if you were a granddaughter of her half brother, Charlie?

RE: Grace Davison
Not my memorial. You need to ask the creator of Find A Grave Memorial# 98511588.

Hi Marietta,

I've added her birthdate to the memorial as requested. Since you are related - even distantly - I'd be happy to transfer the memorial to you if you wish. Just let me know if you want me to do so.

Hi Marietta, the mausoleum is not on private property it is in West Newton Cemetery but the mausoleum itself is privately owned and the cemetery does not have the authority to open it. The next time I am there I will try to zoom on some of the individual plaques, I just don't know how they will turn out since it has to be done in between the bars and through the glass.

I am still showing them pending in your "EDITS" tab on your contributor page.

However, if you want to manually add them that would be great. They are:

Albertina Sonnenberg #100927833

not a burial in Lind?
I suspect your memorial 64723106 for Johann D. Henry Meyer, with the note "No tombstone. Obit 03/01/1907, Lind Leader" is an error in placement.

With the same b & d dates, there is a Henry J D Meyer stone in the Spokane Cemetery, see memorial
129601408 for that photo.

Would it be possible to transfer my great grandmother's memorial into my name? Thanks for the photos and all the work to enter the entire Lind Cemetery.

Hugh Parrish
I am going to Northview in the morning. Do you have any idea what part of the cemetery Hugh Parrish may be buried in? I saw you had a photo request and have looked for him in the past but if you have an idea of maybe front, back, middle, side, would be very helpful.

I went and double checked the memorial that I took photos for and they all seem to be there. If there is a problem still, please let me know! Thanks for your help and information.
