RE: Foneta Mae Newcomb and Louis Nelson
Hi Gretchen,

No, I'm not related. I did a memorial for her sister, Betty, who is at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery and was looking for her parents to link them.

Hi Gretchen,
You are quite welcome! I hope the transfer request works for you! I'm sure that Alice would be pleased that someone is looking out for her folks!
Best of luck!

Peres Bonney/Alice Martin LaRue
Good Morning Gretchen,
I saw that you left a message for my friend, Alice LaRue, requesting information on Peres Bonney. I just wanted to let you know that Alice has not been online for over a year and a half now.

I have no idea what has happened to her, as she has not responded either through this site or to any personal e-mails in that time. I'm thinking that she has either lost computer capabilities to be online or has passed away. Sadly, I fear it is the latter.

I didn't want you to think that Alice was just ignoring you...

Fred W. Dexter
Hello Gretchen, Fred has no marker. I will try to remember to look for an obituary next time I go to the Historical Society here. I'm guessing you are asking about him because of the Bonney connection. I think his widow, Susan, married Sherwood Bonney. I believe her maiden name to be Shattuck, daughter of William Shattuck, Find A Grave Memorial# 59738925, but can't confirm that just yet, only did a quick search. I will post Fred's obit to his memorial if I find it. Thanks.

Timothy Bonney 1814-1852
He is not buried at this cemetery. The cemetery did not exist I 1852. As you may know Sherwood S Bonney, Lydia Ann Bonney, Clarence L Bonney, Horace F Bonney, Lucy A and Fred W Bonney are buried in the Sumner Cemetery.

I hope you can read it a little better. I noticed that too. I deleted one of them. The site is kind of slow and I may have become impatient. ;o)

Hi Gretchen,
If you open the Memorial(s), it should show this:

[Transfer Management][Edit][Delete]

The above will show just above the cemetery sign on the Memorial. Select delete and it will ask you if you are sure. Select "Yes".
I know that you did not create them, but now that you are the "manager" of the Memorial, it will only allow you to delete it.
I will pass on the info to Shannon.
I hope this is helpful. :-)
Kindest regards,

George Logan
George is NOT buried at Kickapoo cemetery. He is buried at Mt. Muncie with his wife's family.
Please see the Memorial information below.
Would you please delete this Memorial?
The lady that has his Memorial, Shannon, is very nice and I am sure would transfer it to you if you are family and request a transfer.
Best regards,

The photo was taken the day it was posted, by me. Northern Litchfield county got little to no snow in this last storm.

Hello, I can confirm that he is buried in the John W Taylor Cemetery in Temperanceville, VA. I made your photos today, including his wife and 2 others I presume to be their son and daughter. I live in Alabama, and will post them for you, after I return home, next week. Jerri

Glad to help. Gave me something to do on my last day of vacation in Missouri, the cemetery was adjacent to where we were staying, and it was a beautiful day to walk. Always happy to help. Merry Christmas...Craig

RE: Ruby Jackson 98687008
The name on the headstone to the right of the Pineo marker is: Sean Philip Kane (Oct 27, 1979).

RE: Ruby Jackson 98687008
Hi Gretchen,

I will go look at the stone to the right of the Pineo marker and let you know what it says.

It looks like you are correct about the relationships of Ruby, Charles and Flora. I did a quick search and found this information that might help you track down the details.

Ruby Pineo Jackson (duplicate record - should be merged)

Charles Byron Pineo (duplicate record - should be merged)

Flora Rodick Pineo (duplicate record - should be merged)

1847 birth (Flora)

1860 census (Charles & Ruby)

1870 census (Charles)

1884 marriage (Charles & Flora)

1920 census (Charles & Flora)

1930 census (Charles)

In 1870 Ruby is living in a different household than Charles, according to the census records. In the person record for their mother on, it shows her death as being in 1863, so the family might have been split up at that time. Looks like a fun puzzle to solve!

RE: Milford Cemetery - Pinneo Photos
Dear Gretchen, thank you for your kind words. The Pinneo family stones were fashioned from "Georgia" stone, which weathers poorly and I am sure will be completely illegible 50 years hence. It was very popular back in the day, and must have been stunning when new, so sad, as it was widely used. I had to "read" the stones with my fingertips before I could be sure I had the right ines! I think Pinneo became Pinney later on down the line; am
I right?
