Joyce Kitson
Stalker
I am researching William Stalker b 1854. family story was that he was an orphan at age 14 when he came to Michigan across the ice from Canada. No proof. I find in Ancestry that his parents were James and Eliza McKinze Stalker. But I can't find any record of a James married to Eliza, just James married to Almira Schdel in 1841. Have you seen any graves for James and Eliza? Any for William Stalker? This is my road block. Thanks for your time and effort. I can't find any census records for William and James together in a family.

Nancy,
Thank you so very much for your photo of the Ellermann gravestone. As always, you complement cemetery searching with library research. This Ellermann family presents a challenge and I am grateful to you for everything.
Best,
Jane

RE: Infant Joseph Blattel
Thanks for taking these photos and for finding and entering the baby's headstone too. However, please correct his last name to be spelled with only one 'L', as per headstone.

RE: Re: Davidson's memorial
no, not at all, i was just glad to find something. was actually friends with larry for many years, engaged when we were very young, knew grandma, grandpa, and larry's parents when they lived in jennings.
Larry used to keep in touch, but haven't heard from him in many years. My mother passed a few years ago and i found some pictures of larry and his parents in her things, been trying to find an address to send the pics to him, came across this, instead, felt it my duty to pledge the $5 and post a flower. Thanks

Wolf/Debatin
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trying to find my Wolf and Debatin relatives in St Johns Cemetery!!! That was so kind of you!!!

I am so disappointed that Caroline Klinghammer Wolf Debatin and her 2nd husband, James Fred Debatin apparently do not have headstones. :( Do you know if that same plot location that you found, Section A, Lot 59, is also the plot that John Wolf (her 1st husband), Ida Wolf (their daughter), and George and Catharina Klinghammer (her parents) are in? If you do not know, do you have the phone number of the cemetery that I could call and find out? Thank you!!

On Louise Lepage Wolf (Caroline's daughter-in-law), her death certificate has that she is buried in St Johns. Oliver's (husband of Louise, son of Caroline) DC just has St Charles as place of burial. Catherine Klinghammer Wolf (sister of Caroline and also her sister-in-law, as they married brothers!!), her DC also has that she is buried in St Johns. I was so hoping to find my relatives. This is my direct line as Oliver was my great grandfather, making Caroline my 2nd great grandmother.

Thank you again!!!

William S. Schagel
They are sisters: Here is the story. Aaron Schagel owned the property in the 1840's, he with some of his family, came here from Chatham Township, Argenteuil CO., Quebec -"On the Ottawa". He died in 1848 and was perhaps one of the first buriels there, but no visible marker remains. Several of his family later owned the land- "daughters Alemeda, Almira Stalker and sons Henry and Elijah. In 1889, deeds were recorded to the "Trustees of the Burial Ground Association of Jeddo", signed by Almira Stalker, Hiram H Stalker, Herbert Stalker, James and Almeda Hill, William S Moore and Lucinda C. Moore. These deeds are recorded in Volume 101 page 337, 338 and 339.

Please enjoy the information!!

Maria Stalker Cambell
She is plot 41 with husband James D Cambell at Jeddo Cemetery. My son and I were out there today to try to get pictures for the names with no current pictures. However there are many markers missings. I was out at the cemetery this morning taking pictures. I believe I have the picture you seek. It only says MOTHER on it.

Yes it was in the same row and easily located once we spotted our first Wixom marker. I am very glad you are happy with the picture.

Stalker/ Schagel
We could not locate your Alemeda Schagel and Peter Stalker, however it does not mean she is not there. There are a number of stones we could not read even after chalking. However; to the south of the large Stalker stone is two smaller stones that read "mother" and "father". There is no additional information on these two smaller stones. I did photograph the larger Stalker stones and the two with only top engraving.

James Campbell stone
I did not find additional campbell stones. It is a small cemetery and I saw a public entry to the cemetery and got there. I took as many pictures as I could of all the stones there. There is only 107 memorials for this cemetery and I believe that is all of them. I see I after I put all that I thought there was, there is still 39 memorials without photos so I will make another trip to Jeddo cemetery and do further searching. I will look for any additional Campbells while there.

Nancy,
I return to thank you again for your patience in attempting to add photos to my memorial requests! Also, photos reflecting results of your cleanup society, FCCS, are nothing less than amazing. Bravo for bringing those cemeteries back to their close-to original condition.
Your friend,
Jane

Nancy,
Thanks for your many attempts to add the photos to Wulfekammer memorial!! I'm wondering why the site would not accept. Perhaps your photos were too large? I'm not up on these techie skills. Might you forward it to me and let me try? If I were successful, I'd certainly credit you.
Also, the photo you posted of cemetery entrance is great. Why don't you add that to the cemetery location page?

Again, I thank you for your efforts and appreciate all you've done on my behalf.
Kind regards,
Jane

Nancy, thank you so much for your time and effort to try and locate this Grave. I know that her parents were buried at All Saints, so when her Death Certificate stated that she was buried in St Peters, MO., I thought it would be in All Saints. Thanks again for your time, Jerry
