DAR - John Henry Hutto
FYI - I was hoping to join the DAR as a descendant of John Henry Hutto. Unfortunately the lines have gotten mixed between two Henry Hutto's. This means that anyone new cannot join on someone else's membership. As Henry Zorn is also an ancestor of mine, I hope to join on his Revolution service. Thanks for all of your hard work for the family. Jean Timmerman-Swisher, West Chester, Pa.

I have been checking and you are correct that we are related by William and Jacob. I have someone in Mobile that is a Dossett and has Bailey in her line. Thanks for tweaking the picture. Deb

RE: PS (Plum Springs No. 1, 2, & "3")
Appreciate the commiseration over multiple virtual cemeteries, but there are indeed Plum Springs Baptist Church Cemeteries No. 1 & 2 listed in "Talladega County, Alabama Tombstone Inscriptions of All Known Cemeteries 1700's to 1987", Vol. II, c. 1990 by John & Francis S. Upchurch. Plum Springs No. 2 is down the road a short distance from No. 1, contains more recent interments, and is depicted in the photograph I attached to both of the cemeteries listed as being in Talladega County.

Anyway, I've deleted my duplicates and will act on any new headstone photo requests from there with a degree of caution. Hope your family research fares well there!

Eliz Hinds/Plum Springs Cem. Correction
Did you know of the two cemeteries in Find-A-Grave created for Plum Springs Baptist Church, one in Talladega County (173) and the other in Calhoun County (84)? The cemetery is actually in Talladega County, with memorials being created there as early as 2005 by Kitty Walker Lennard.

I will delete all duplicate entries I created. However, there are more duplicates than the one for Elizabeth Hinds. Is there not an administrator corrective action to merge the two cemeteries into one and correctly identify its location ?

RE: Mrs Lillie Greer
You are very welcome. The cemetery is not very big so depending on my schedule next week I might go and photograph the whole sight. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Hi Kay. I was recently in contact with a relative, and she told me that the photo that you placed on Gabriel D. Smith, Jr.'s memorial is actually a photo of his son Darius. I was wondering if you have any documentation on the photo? I'd love to know which one of the two men the photo shows.

Kay, I've not forgotten about the video I mentioned but I haven't found it either. We have a closet that we packed full top to bottom when we moved in. It's probably in there. I just have to work up the nerve to dig into it. Neil

RE: Louise Hutto
Hi,
Her maiden name was Margaret Louise Moore, daughter of Ernest R. Moore and Mary T. O'Brien. She first married John G. Clonts and is buried close to him at Edgemont. She married a Hutto after his death in 1935, but I don't know when or what Hutto. Her obit doesn't mention anything about any Hutto survivors. I haven't tried to go any further. Let me know if you figure out who he is. Hope this helps!
I have seen your name around F-A-G. Thanks for all your work!

Correction of Death Date on tombstone
Miranda Hughes is no kin that I am aware of, but I have many Hughes kinfolks buried in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. I just noticed the error whenever I was posting on that site. Thanks for correcting her death date!

Miranda Hughes
Her death date must be wrong as it has her dying before she was born. It must be 1922 instead od 1822. Please correct. Thanks!
