The memorial for Nathaniel Cameron 1777-1861 contains your message stating that he married Mary Fell, Mary Ann "Poley" Bowman 1784-1841 and Mezina Hale(s)d 1877. I am interested in determining which wife was the mother of William N. Cameron 1838-1903. I have not located the first two marriage records for Nathaniel Cameron and don't know when Mary Fell died. Can you help with any additional information indicating the mother of William?

Thank you for any assistance.

Thomas Getzen Danner at Boyd Cemetery
Hi, Brad,
Thank you for trying to find him for me. I agree, that the gravestone could be destroyed or covered over. I photograph the cemetery by me and I take a shovel with me because so many of the flat stones are being covered by grass and dirt. Sometimes all I see is just a small corner of a stone. Mother nature claims everything eventually, huh?

Thanks for trying. If you don't see it, if you could just drop a quick note to me that you can't find it and then I will put on Find A Grave that Find A Grave volunteer states the gravestone can not be found. That way myself and others don't keep asking for the same photograph over and over.

Thomas Getzen Danner
I can't thank you enough for photographing Thomas' gravestone at Boyd Cemetery. I never figured I would ever be able to see his gravestone. What a wonderful gift.
His wife Jane is supposed to be buried there. I was wondering if you saw a gravestone for her near Thomas' gravesite.
Thank goodness you took the photograph because his gravestone is in very bad condition. Who knows how much longer it will be able to be read.
Thanks again,

RE: transfers Sumter county, Alabama
Hi Brad.
Sounds like we share some common research interests. My wife's great grandparents were Elisha Woods and Sarah Green who are buried in the cemetery. As you noted, everyone there is related one way or another. Were there specific people you wanted transferred to you?

Would love to compare notes on the family.

I can be contacted off site at:

Thanks for trying to locate my family members. I believe that they are located in the over grown section. Do you have any suggestions on how I could find out the name of this cemetery?

Hi Brad!

Thank you so much for taking the headstone picture for M.E. McDonald. She was My GGgrandmother. Sad to think that by the time she died at age 18, she already had 3 children.
