Hi Dave, please remove the memorial pic for William W Reeder [#33391488] ... it belongs to another Reeder. Cheers! Frank
P.S. I can't keep checking behind you like this!

Charla Springer
Long Family
David,
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the grave markers of Robert Long and his parents. I'm assuming that his wife, Edyth Black Long, is not buried next to him like I had thought. I have not been able to locate an obituary on her either.
Thanks again for your much appreciated help!

RE: Lt William Dillard
Thanks for the info, next time I go to the library I will pull his father's obituary to see if I can determine who his wife was - sometimes the obits don't give the info if the spouse predeceased but it's worth a try. I'll also put in a photo request and that may clear it up before I can get to the library. I live about 10 miles from the cemetery so short of everything else I'll make a trip in a few weeks to check myself if I can get plot information - none of the Dillards in the transcription are buried in the same plot as he is but it's an old book from 1995, but I have his and may then find theirs. I love a good hunt !

Isabella Calhoun
I read her d/c, but somehow placed the wrong one of her memorial. Thank you for letting me know. I have deleted it. Don't worry about looking for her marker at Woodlawn.
Thanks anyway.

Andrew Pickens Calhoun, II
David,
Hope you're doing well.

You added a picture of the above memorial. I am looking for his wife, Floride Isabella (Lee) Calhoun. She was the only grandchild of Thomas Clemson. She died in Atlanta. I read her obit which SAID she was buried there, but I find this difficult to believe. I checked with Oakhill in Atlanta and they have no record of her burial there.

Her husband died in San Antonio, TX and was taken to SC for
burial. This is why I think Floride is buried in Clemson, too.

Did you add all of the Calhouns in their square?

Thanks for your input.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this photo.
This young man married my aunt in 1945 and three months later was killed in WWII. I have tried for years to connect to this family. Thank you, thank you thank you. Doris

Hello David,
You may use the photo on the website. I think the photo is a reduced size for posting on FindAGrave. If you would like the full size photo, let me know as I keep an original copy of every photo that I take.

Yes , no problem , glad I can help --- I m off to my Panama school again in 3 weeks --When I return end of may , I will be going to Saint Mihiel to finish the graveyard there , so that all the grave pictures can be found on line ..

I want to do the Corazal american cemetery in Panama if I can find somebody to drive me there , as Panama city is not exactly safe for a woman on her own ...guess can do the 5500 graves in a day trip and then post them on line on my return

regards from France

RE: Memorial #62200783 Phyllis Jackson
I see, David. And now they are making duplicate enteries under two separate cemeteries sites on Findagrave. I have requested that the Baptist Church Cemetery be deleted. So, based on what you are telling me, this would be the correct thing to have done.

What should have been done on Double Springs Methodist Church Cemtery on Findagrave is a notation made to reflect that members of the Baptist congregation are buried at the Methodist Cemetery.

Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Fran

The problem... another contributor posted a picture of the Methodist Church on the site of the Baptist Church and it's even showing upside down... One day we will get all this stuff straight.
Thank you, again.
