Robert Porter Allen
Are you a relative of Robert Porter Allen? He's my g-g- grandfather. I am unable to find the gravestone for my g-g- grandmother, his wife, Ellen Evan Fleming Allen b. 1841, d after 1920. Can't find a death record after the 1920 census. There's no 1930 census for her.

Thanks,
Lynn Bright Tourangeau

RE: RPA Memorial again
The word I usrd means "advocate" and Robert was a whooper advocate when the whooper population was down to just 22 birds. It is now 500 in two flyways. Operation Migration is in process of re-estabulating the Eastern flyway with chicks they teach to migrate using small aircraft. Each year they add a small number of hand raised chicks to the migratory flock. thank God for Robert ALLEN and his beginning effort.

RE: Elizabeth Bennington
Alice, I thank you for your email. When I found that headstone that read ELIZA BENNINGTON I honestly thought someone had used a nickname. I have checked through communications sent to me by Janna Bennington Larson a long time ago and I find she also refers to ELIZA. I have corrected the Findagrave data. Thanks again.
Eliza's son, Harvey E. Bennington, was my grandfather. Harvey married Alice Laird of York County, PA. My sister was also Alice, named after her.
