Thank you for sharing your photos. I posted the headstone photo for Robert Gunnar Johnson on my Ancestry website and certainly did credit you as the source. Diane Carter

Transfers
Dear N K Jewel,

Thank you so much for these transfers. I means a very great deal for me to be able to connect family with family.

1. CPL Hiram T. Stevens Jr #78231632
2. Anna I. Blacklington Stevens #78231685

I have run across some others in this family and will get to you when I do some catching up on my back log of work.

Thanks for your help and all the work you do. It is greatly appreciated.

RE: Vivion/Vivian Jewell
I respect your reasoning which is probably correct. Many times, gravestone inscriptions are in error. Since you have a family member with that spelling, I would use the Vivion also.

Thanks for all you do to promote family genealogies.

Sandy King
Webb Family Cemetery
N K,

I have been given a list of burials by the county clerk. I am adding them Find A Grave but I have a few questions I would like to ask someone who has actually been to the cemetery. I live in Harlingen Texas so it a bit too far to make a trip.
My email address is sandking@att.net. Please contact me. Thank you.

Hi, Norma,

Correction made. Thanks for the info.

Elizabeth was Joan's 2nd cousin, once removed.

Is Gary coming to his 50th HS reunion at RSM on July 6? Joan is.

Have an awesome day, Bill

Mattawamkeag Cemetery

Could you please link Hannibal Coombs and George W. Coombs to their father Samuel Warren Coombs (Memorial# 108426801) . According to his death certificate he is buried at Mattawamkeag. Thanks. I also believe that Samuel's wife Maria Jenkins is buried at Mattawamkeag, but haven't been able to verify it. Barry Coombs, Saluda, NC

RE: Palmers
Thanks for taking the time to let me know I helped you. I walked that cemetery one day looking for some of my family but I didn't find any. I had driven right past that cemetery for about 30 years and never knew it was there. One day I was driving past and I noticed a headstone on top of the hill in the woods. The setting sun was shining on it just right. I went back when I could and photographed the grave markers I could see. The cemetery is in the woods and many of the graves are not marked. There could be some grave markers under the leaves. I thought it would be a good idea to explore better and use a metal rod or tool to help find stones that have fallen or trees have fallen on them. Let know if you want family links (parents or spouse) or bio info added or I can transfer to you if you want.

Martha Steen
Thanks for catching me on this one! I did something no genealogist should ever do. I found a stone for a Martha, with the correct birthyear in the Clearfield Cemetery, where her parents are buried. Since her husband was still alive I ASSUMED that she was buried there with her parents, August and Frieda (POOCH) Kannenberg. After digging in genealogy for over 40 yrs I should have known better! Sorry, and thanks again.

Are you related to Howell Somervel Palmer, Sr? I am trying to confirm that his father was William Bramwell Palmer.

RE: Roscoe G. Martin
Thank you so much for the help and info. I visited Roscoe's grave many years ago. I actually walked almost the entire Riverside Cemetery before finding it. Unfortunately, many of his children either died young, remained single, or married with few or no children--thus few descendants. But, it's such an interesting grave; I'm glad you enetered it. Thank you for the transfer. All the best for a nice New Year.

Best,
Ken

Roscoe Martin
Dear NK,

Thank you for the message. I would be happy to accept the transfer except I have no idea how to do that, since I'm pretty new to Findagrave. Either way is fine. Thank you for the offer. The biggest thing would be to link him to his father, Eliphalet, who is at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Bangor (102651897). Thank you again.

Thank you for doing the grave entry for Roscoe G. Martin at Riverside Cemetery in Orono, Maine. I grew up in Orono. Roscoe Martin was my g.g. grandfather's (Alonzo Martin) brother. You took and entered two beautiful photos of the grave. Thank you again.

Yes, you're right. It looks beautiful. Just goes to show you that a fine sunny day is so much better for photographing stones. I went ahead and deleted the other photos as well.
