|kck||RE: Samuel Bird Ralston|
I looked for your Mary Ralston but could not find her. There were no visible markers in the section where she was buried. Many of the markers at Mount Auburn are flat cemetery markers that over the years have sunk into the ground and are now covered by grass. If she has one of these markers, it would be difficult to locate.

I checked and she is already linked to Silas Holcomb Sr. If this is wrong or I am misunderstanding something, please email me offline at email@example.com.

|Brian J. Ensley||RE: Michael Keith|
You're very welcome- glad I could help. No, that was the first time I've been there since the 1990's. I made a trip over that way to hunt down a relative buried near Cherry Tree so on my way back I hit a few cemeteries to try and fulfill some requests that I saw were still pending.

She is the wife of the father-in-law of my 2nd cousin 3x removed. I have just started the research on her and William. I did find a family tree that had his death certificate attached and it states died while visiting relatives. The cause of death indicates it was probably due to an Ulcer. I am assuming they just buried him there rather than ship him home. She died four years later in St.Louis I didn't know it wasn't a family
plot. I assumed they just couldn't afford a headstone. He don't think he was buried in a military cemetery. Will let u know if I find more information.

I got the info on Lottie Ralston residing at Quincy, Ill. from the cemetery records. I had many of the records transcribed on my own website years ago, but imported them on here so they could help more people. I'll email the pages from the record book to you in a few minutes.

I was taking a walk today in Evergreen Cemetery and ran across a grave for a Milo Jones. I took a photo but I don't think it is the one you are looking for but may be his son. I don't know. The marker is inscribed: Milo Jones, Amm2 US Navy, World War II, Sept. 18, 1916- Jan. 16, 1968. The marker next to this one is Christine G. Jones, June 13, 1916- April 6, 1969. Are they related to your Milo Jones?

|holly Brannigan||Susan Jane Jones (Johnson)|
I believe that Susan Jane Jones maiden name was Johnson and possible not Johnston. Here is what I have found:
Ontario, Canada, Marriages, 1801-1928 about William Barton Jones
Name: William Barton Jones
Birth Place: Dundas, Ontario
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1857
Father Name: Andrew Jones
Mother Name: Mary Jones
Spouse Name: Susan Jane Johnson
Spouse's Age: 19
Spouse Birth Year: abt 1860
Spouse Birth Place: Hespeler
Spouse Father Name: Isaac Johnson
Spouse Mother Name: Bertha S Johnson
Marriage Date: 24 Dec 1879
Marriage County or District: Waterloo
Please let me know if the records made a mistake : I know there is a Johnston but not married to Barton.

I "think" the incorrect date is on your record for Milo. I found this:
U.S., Social Security Death Index, 1935-Current about Milo Jones
Name: Milo Jones
Last Residence: Florida
Born: 24 Aug 1892
Died: Aug 1965
State (Year) SSN issued: Florida (Before 1951)
I may have the Milo's mixed up but just in case, I thought I would send this to you.

|Johnny||William Barton Jones|
Good morning Bob,
Thank you for the information on Mr. Jones. I have added the bio information and the links. I found marker photos and have uploaded them. A few graves down from Mr. Jones is a son Oro Barton Jones and I have linked him also. There are 3 grave between Ora Jones and William Jones, they are Aline Jensen Edmunds, W.T. Eleazer and Minnie C. VanDeventer. William Barton and Susan Jane Jones are next to each other.
Have a great day and thank you again , Johnny

|Ron||RE: Adam Keith|
A headstone reading at the now defunct Brumbaugh Cemetery had Adam Keith death date as Nov 3, 1808. One source says the few memorials at this cemetery were removed to the Union Cemetery in Marklesburg. However, a listing of reinterments does not have Adam on it. Sort of strange - could be an error of ommission. I believe there is another list availabe and will try to find that. Another possibility would be to check the reintermnet area at Union Cemetery on some future trip.

Yes, he was in the Brumbaugh Cemetery (now defunct)hat was relocated due to the Raystown project. I'll get back to you later and let you know what I find - probably not much as I recall.

I'm in the midst of trying to help clean out mispaced memorials at the Brumbaugh and Valley View Cemeteries. Probabably about six or more to inform people of memorials being misplaced. There were at least three such named cemeteries up uintil the early 1970s. The one not listed shows an Adam Keith being buried there, died in the early 1800s. Any connection?
