|David Olsen||PFC Charles Cook|
Thank you for transferring over Charles. He was one of 38 men from Charlie Troop 1st Squadron 11th Cavalry (Black Horses) that was killed in Vietnam. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done. If you are wounded, I will carry you. If you are captured, I will come for you. If your are killed, I will always remember you. US CAVALRY

|cfenters||Leona Welbanks Fallen|
Thank you for posting a photo of her stone and for letting me know that the name on the stone was different from how I had it listed. I do not recall the record I used, but I did list it the same as I found it. I had Welbanks as her maiden name, but now I;m sure it wasn't, I changed it to the way it is on her stone. I am assuming that Fallen was her first husband and Welbanks her second husband, but was buried with her first one. Findagrave states that memorials should have the name that it on the stone, which I know helps to cut down on duplicates. It's too bad they can't add more fields for last name (to enter other married names) and have them all searchable. Anyway, I appreciate your alerting me of the discrepancy. I wish more people would do that.

|Lucy Brown||Harry Brown's grave|
Thank you so much for posting the picture of Harry Brown's gravestone. He was a long lost uncle of my husband's that we finally found and now to have a picture of his grave is very special. I will add it to the book of the Brown lineage I have done. Again many, many thanks. My husband is a veteran of WWII and Vietnam so we are very appreciative of what you are doing. Lucy Brown

Thanks so much for letting me know! I was taking photos at another location today, so it's not like I'd already gone out of my way for that particular photo request. :) GGNC is so huge, I stopped taking photos there some years back because my claimed photo requests were repeatedly taken over by other people, none of whom ever apologized or acknowledged what they'd done! So I stopped taking photos there. I just started up again this past month when I saw the backlog of over 100 requests. Thanks again for explaining what happened.

I want to send a special thank you for your recording of Find A Grave Memorial# 117765744.. I know nothing of my dad's mom except her name was Josephine Fernandes, that she was 'hawaiian', and that she was 30 when she passed away. Thanks to you I now have her maiden name. Very Cool! Do you have any more info on her or can lead me in her direction? I would LOVE to know more about her :) Thanks again.

|Linda Sparks||RE: Mary Cox Lile, memorial 16286741|
I am confused because I haven't added any picture to Mary Cox Lile. I went to her memorial and I don't recognize any of the photos.
Please remove the photo you added to the memorial for Mary Cox Lile, as it is in violation of established Find A Grave protocol:
"Can I add a photo that I found on Find a Grave or on a different website?
No. Do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another memorial or from another source."
"General photo guidelines:
Only post photos for which you hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!
JPEG format preferred (.jpg or .jpeg).
8.0 MB maximum file size.
Cropped with no surrounding white space.
No post-mortem photos.
No photos taken from other web sites!!!"
In the meantime, I have added a photo that I just took on Sunday.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this.

|Christine Klukkert||Graves in Sunset Hills - Corning, CA|
I was just wondering if you ever got a response from member Mary Paetznick (#46577961). You made several requests for family in the Corning, CA cemetery many of my family members are buried in. I have been trying and trying and don't hear back or have edits or connections made. I am in the process of writing a book on that family and it is frustrating to not hear back. Did you have any luck?
Thanks so much.
