Hi, Kathleen! Thank you só much for helping my research.
In the case of Glória Buechner, I have accepted your submission (thank you) of her maiden name, but not the spousal info. I am curious of the provenance of "Smith, as I would very much like to know if she was born in or hear Metairie, LA, and the námes of her parents. Not challinging you, understand. I still know her daughter and three grandchildren, só if there ís a mistake, it will be corrected.
I did reject the spousal submission, as I knew Dan, her husband, quite well for many years, two of her children, and three grandchildren. The name you submitted may well be related, but was not her spouse. If you discover that Gloria is the wrong person entirely, please inform me soonest.

We looked everywhere for June but could not find her. The cemetery had tall grass lots of ants and I had flip flops on so it was a bit harder. So sorry we didn't locate her.

|Amay||From Beauregard-Avegno family member|
Thank you so much for posting info about my family. My Memere (great grandmother) was Lillian Marie Beauregard Avegno. Her grandfather was Aimé Fortune Avegno brother of Anatole Avegno, father of Madame X, Virgine Avegno. I'm a a descendant of PGT Beauregard. I'm not exactly sure how, I wish I knew, it ends at Gabriel Toutant Beauregard he was my grandmother's grandfather. I am still searching. But I am so excited about what I found today that you posted! I can't thank you enough!!

Kathleen, So sorry it's taken this long to change the inform on Mary Jane's Find A Grave. While in NOLA on my book tour I saw an email from you dated 2-14-15 about her name listed as 'White' and indeed I have the 1866 death certificate signed by Ambroise for Ambroise, Jr. at 3 months and Mary Jane's name is listed as "White". The mystery continues! Keila

Since I have a picture of "A D Leavitt's" headstone, it would make more sense for you to make your memorial for Martha. If you need to correspond more, please provide me your email address.

If it's OK with you...I'll link "normally" to the adopted parents.

Busy working away still, great job!
When a person appears in a cemetery and later moved we still leave a memorial in the original cemetery but put a note on it so someone else thru whatever means does not come along and make another memorial. I have put your note on the memorial in St. Roch Cem1 and if you could make a new memorial in St. Roch Cem 2 and shoot me the memorial number I can put the memorial number on this memorial to lead them to yours.
Thanks so much
Hi Mike and Bushy,
Would you please be so kind to move Dorothy and remove the photos from her memorial?
She was moved on May 18, 1967 to be with her husband in
St Roch Cemetery #2
Court of Our Lady Queen of Angels Mausoleum #1
Right Side Covered Patio
I'll get photos when Von and I are in New Orleans again this June. Thanks!

|Warren Weimer||Ducoing Car Accident|
That is such a tragic story about the car accident near Bakersfield. It happened in 1945 after the war. Do you think this serviceman was hitchhiking and they picked him up and he too was killed?

|Montereygenealogist||RE: French and Emery Families|
The plots in Monterey Cemetery are very oddly labelled. For an overview...check out monterey.org/en-us/Departments/Plans.../Cemetery-El-Encinal
A City listing of graves done a few years ago by 'an intern'. Not perfect but really helpful. There are more French's there.

Thanx for the newspaper report - interesting reading but I'd rather not post something that grisly on Find A Grave.
Now find me a report on his life and that's a different matter...!
