Thank you for the information and the suggestion to link up to his son. Serapio's wife, Soledad and son, Daniel Reyes are also buried there. Would you happen to have information? If so, could you send so I can link? I ran a search but had no luck.

Garlington Manly/Manley
I see you are maintaining the records for Garlington's descendents on Find a Grave.

1. Are you related?
2. If so, have you found any more information on Garlington's mother Sarah?

Thanks,
W. Paul Manly
Descended from Garlington's brother William.

John Bunyun Rice
I've uploaded a newspaper clipping to the entry for John Bunyun Rice. At the very least you will want to re-arrange the photo order or you may want to take it off the site, which would be fine by me. I would have sent it to you directly but I didn't have a current email. -- Bill Davis

RE: Jasper Shortridge
I wonder if his age on the stone is really 19 years rather than 9 years, since he appears in the censuses from 1850, 1860 and 1865.

RE: Jasper Shortridge
Was the 1860 finding in Sumner, Kansas in the census? He is also on the 1850 census of Harrison Shortridge in Washington Township, Wayne County, Indiana at age 2.

Is it possible to get a copy of the page from the cemetery book?

His mother was Mary Jane Loder.

Thanks for updating the record.

Jasper Shortridge
I am wondering where you got the birth date for Jasper Shortridge on the memorial for him. He is listed as being age 2 in the 1850 census for Harrison Shortridge, his father, in Washington Township, Wayne County, Indiana. He is also listed in the 1865 Kansas State Census as being age 18, again with his father Harrison.

Perhaps there is another Jasper Shortridge.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

I noticed you have the Steven Lucas family on Find A Grave. We are looking for Marvin Lucas, born around 1936, and wondering if you would happen to be a family member? We would appreciate any information you would be willing to share with us. Steve Lucas was our uncle. Thank you. Mary Pool

T. McLean
JONES infant in Brick Cemetery
re: memorial #66641987 - could this infant be the missing child of Phibert and Sarah (Adkins) JONES?
My records show they had a child who was born and died 13 May 1920 - I had no indication if male or female, but it seems likely it could be a match, as the parents are buried here also.
Thank you,
Terry McLean

Thank you so much for posting a photo of Catherine Songer Lister, along with her son Isaac's family. I didn't think a photo of Catherine (or of her husband, William Marshall Lister) ever existed.

Mr. Rice, would you know if there are additional family members of Richard, besides the ones already in the memorials? I am doing the family Rice / Nah-Quah-Be side of family for a friend; her Grandmother was Darlene Rice daughter of John Rice. Thank-you Darlene Martin
