Cindy - I just noticed that your memorial for George Light at the Light Cemetery is a duplicate of one done earlier with the above memorial number. Maybe you could add you photo of the cleaned headstone to the original memorial as it has the uncleaned stone showing. thank you

Thanks for the assistance, and for posting him in the first place. I just starting doing this and I've already done a few times. Been doing the genealogy for years though. Have to ask. Do you ever get into Union, ME. I'm looking for Ebenezer Blunt Sibley's grave. I know he was buried in Union, have no idea where. He has a number of siblings buried there also, Ebenezer was son of Jacob Sibley. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Again

I was working with the Wellman family and noticed that you accidentally created two Memorials for Joseph Wellman.

This one had family links
Joseph Wellman
Jul. 29, 1857
Created, Nov 01, 2010
Memorial# 60984259

This one should be deleted

I am wondering if you could verify the dates for these individuals. They are buried in Humes Cemetery, Washington, Knox County, Maine. From my research, I believe that his birth date is probably 1866, and her birthdate is probably 1862.The headstone is somewhat difficult to read.

Brad Sharpe
Hector Achorn
Hi. Brad Sharpe from California. If possible I would really like a photo of Hector Achorn's grave. I do have an obit for him from a local newspaper in Califorrnia which shows his death in Maine. He lived and mined for many years in Clipper Mills which borders Strawberry Valley, Yuba County, California. Many former residents of Clipper Mills are buried in Strawberry Valley. The mystery is why we have a metal tag with his name on it in our cemetery shed. Most of the tags in the shed were simply displaced from where they belonged in the cemetery. If he has a headstone in Maine I would feel somewhat assured that he remined there. Brad Sharpe

RE: Preston Perkins, Riverside Cemetery, Orono

If you open his memorial and click the word edit that is next to the word Burial. On the next page, click continue and then a page will come up where you can enter the proper cemetery information. The cemetery is Stillwater Riverside in Old Town Maine.

Let me know if this helps!

His Find A Grave # is 37179167. I could not find the transfer button, which is frustrating because I think I've been seeing it all night!

RE: Robert T. Berry
I am not sure if I am related to John T. I am related to Amon Dailey Berry and he married Mariah Cynthia Linnell who was from Thomaston I believe, so it is possible. I am having a difficult time tracking down that line of Berrys after Amon. I was able to find the Linnell family who is from MA, but after Amon, I am really not sure if I am on the right path or not.

On the other half of that half of my family, (Richards) I am related to William Berry of New Hampshire who was married to Jane Locke Hermins (1635). They had a number of children. I would have to go back and trace the paths from William's children's children's... Well I am sure you get it!

Anyway, Robert T. Berry's parents were Capt.Ralph Allen Berry & Georgia A. Demmons. I will check out the transfer request thingy.

Robert T. Berry
Robert T. Berry is my Great Grandfather's brother. I have all the information on this family. Can you transfer that page and any other Berrys from Sea View in Rockport to me? I am also related to Demmons, McIntire and Wallace surnames, and 2 babies buried there, "Josie" and "Carrie". I don't know how a transfer works, but feel free to leave me a message and I will give you my email privately. I have photographed a bunch of family stones and some I believe are in my family because of location and surnames. Anyway, Bob Berry was a very nice man and though he was a generation older, he was close in age to my grandfather, Ralph A. Berry (not the captain, but the one born in 1926 buried in Mountain View.) I got a chance to meet Bob, but not my grandfather who died a year before I was born:( Anyway, Thanks!

Transfer done. In the future, it is much easier if you use the edit button on the memorial and then "suggest a correction". Bev

RE: Gove Cemetery, Liberty, Maine
Hi. You must be talking about the Pipers and others. Someone named Joan Crawford made those entries back in '05 I think. I found the cemetery one day and took the main cemetery shot and some of the photos you have taken as well. I never dared enter any of the memorials that I saw because I was afraid that it was the wrong cemetery on Findagrave(but I figured hey, Gove Cemetery---Gove Road, etc...). When I tried contacting the Lib. town office, the man told me that they had lost their records about 10 yrs. ago in a fire. So I am very glad that you confirmed my suspicions that this was the correct cemetery. Depending which way you went in and if they had graded the roads yet, you may have had a bumpy ride no, eh? I had been in contact with Mrs. Crawford in the past and she told me that the information that she had obtained elsewhere showed that these people(Pipers, etc) were buried there, so I wasn't going to argue. I thought at first that maybe they were all hidden very well, but I know better by now. Thank you.
