John Humphries
Ooops. I forgot! For many, many years we suspected and pencilled in John as the father of Sallie Humphries (my line) until I dug further and realized through dates and census records that he was too young, and had to be her brother. I believe he signed for her marriage to my great great grandpa. Now my mind is on this. I MUST put it back on the projects that are due. . . Genealogy is so addicting!
By the way, Rhondajo is my sister.
You can email me - see my email deep at the bottom of my bio. And we will cc her.

Hi Tom, I am jammed until April 2, but after that, let's talk! I will have time then to dig out all I have for you!

My great great (? - going from memory) grandfather was John Albert Humphries, and our family all "went west" to Texas. I am excited to hear from you, and look forward to opening and reviewing (and perhaps expanding!) our knowledge and understanding of this family! :)

Your probable cousin,
Kim S.

This is one of favorite lines. What kind of info do you want? I have not been doing genealogy in a while so it might take a bit of digging to find all the sources.

Hi, Tom,
I'm Sue Mosser, Lonnie's wife. Geralding Boggs is my mother. I assume you are Ennis Humphries Browning's grandson. Please contact me at, so that we can "talk". This Find A Grave connection doesn't work very well for me.

Hey, shipmate. I wish I had more information and more accurate information. There sure seems to be a lot of conflicts in the Browning history. My information was passed to me from my brother who did all the research we have on our ancestors. Would appreciate anything you might be able to share.

Merry Christmas
