You are very welcome and thank you! Her mother was indeed an interesting woman, also. I enjoyed reading her obituary.

Margaret Walsh Donahue is my 3rd GGrandmother, would you mind transferring to me if you are also related? Any chance you get to the cemetery enough to get a photo? I'm in Ohio.

Glenn Van Vliet
First, thank you for adding his photo to his memorial. In answer to your question regarding his daughter Glenann, that information came from one of the two newspapers articles I found re Lt. Van Vliet's death. Let me know if you'd like a scan of the articles.

Found write in a book. Use what you want to. Its the family history that tells the story, not just demographic information.

Even though I did not find a headstone for Nellie, I looked through another book at the library and ran across this bit of information. If I can do anything further please let me know.

RE: gravestone photo--Lamberson
You are very welcome. I was at a different cemetery today, and the first marker I saw was another Lamberson. I shall be adding her to Findagrave tonight. She may be another relative. Her name is Mary.

RE: grave stone photos
Where would Esther Parcell/Purcell be from? My husband Shelby Blair Purcell has gone quite far back into his family history, and has no Esther that he is aware of. My family are all from Germany. - Margot.

I've made your suggested updates for Lawrence and Clarissa Lamberson. I have several Lamberson memorial images, still to post, several of them are stacked against another headstone and nearly unreadable.

Thanks, Steve

I left a message for John (Eau Claire City Cemeteries) for him to check the database for Jullum. (I don't know if he's working today MLK holiday but I know he'll get back as soon as he can)

I spoke to Lenmark funeral home & they will research the name & call me back probably later this afternoon. I'll let you know what I hear from both sources. Sue

Hello, Mike;

I will try contacting Lenmark's tomorrow. Have you read the posts at:

I googled it & then translated to English...note the first posting says there was a first marriage for Mads & Kristi..if I read it correctly John Hagensen Osti would be the father for Karen not Mads...anyway, I will see what I can locate on the Jullum's.

Mike, just one more confirmation for you. John from Lakeview just called. He went out to lot 58 Area A. He says there are 3 depressions but no stones. Also, they are in the database so the lost are found. The other couple Aurandt are in Area A but in lot 21.

Auran at Lakeview
Hi, Mike;

Tina from Lenmark's got back to me and all three according to their records are buried at Lakeview as their obits indicated.

She indicated that they are all buried in Area A Lot E 1/2 58:
Henry was buried 12 Oct 1931
Karen was buried 24 Jul 1945
Hannah's funeral was 7 Feb 1945 and she was buried 25 Apr 1945. (Assuming because this was a winter death & they had to wait until it thawed.)

I noted that Jonathan and Loretta Aurandt are buried in Sec A as well, so this is possibly the other's are located nearby. I posted the photograph & Memorials for Jonathan and Loretta. If they are part of your family & you want me to transfer their memorials to you let me know.

I am only guessing but possibly because of the depression years & the war a tombstone for Henry was never placed & with Hannah and her mother dying so close, Karen never had time to place Hannah's & no one ever placed one for Karen either. So I don't have photographs of any tombstone for them.

I have contacted John again at Lakeview & will pass this information along for their records.

Hope this is helpful. Sue

Mike, I've done one more step for you here in town. I phoned Lenmark's Funeral home a few minutes ago & gave them the names & dates. (I've asked for where they are buried but didn't tell them I had Lakeview) She has to research the archives and said she will call me back this afternoon. I'll let you know what I find out from that end.

Auran's in Lake View
Mike, I don't know the answer on this both John at Lakeview and I looked under Haagenson as well but neither of us located these three. The closest we came were a Jonathan and Loretta Aurandt.
