She is linked to her husband on my memorial. His obit says the same.

Barbara, I moved her per your info, but now her husband and the rest of the family are still in the cemetery I moved her from.
Are you sure she was in the wrong cemetery?

Do you have a copy of his obituary? If so, could you please send it to me? firstname.lastname@example.org

Barbara, thank you for the message. I know it's a very large cemetery and difficult to navigate. I don't understand why the first name didn't show up in the photo request. As you see above, it's Covington, a very unique name. The stone might well read Covami, which was his pen name and nickname.
Thank you for keeping my request in mind.

Thank you for the reply about Rosetta's tomb possibly being sent to Hope Mausoleum on Canal Street. I did check, however she is not there either. My great grandmother's grave is still missing. She may be on the 50 yard line after all.

Thank you Barbara for the images and edits for the Badeaux siblings at Metairie Cemetery.
Your contribution is very much appreciated, and it makes Find A Grave rewarding for myself, and for anyone researching their friends and family.
Maybe in the future, I'll be able to add something to one of your memorials.

Thanks so much to Barbara Munson for helping me locate my great-great grandfather's grave. The cemetery in New Orleans covers over 157 acres of ground. Barbara went above and beyond to help me. After not being able to locate the grave at first, she got in touch with me for more information and then returned to the cemetery to find the grave. She took several photos of the grave stone and even sent me the obituary. It's so wonderful to know there are such nice people in the world. She helped me connect with my family.

Thank you. I believe I've checked to see if they were transferred there many years ago. However, I'll double check my notes. I'll also check to see if her name appears as a transferred person on Find A Grave.

The office at the Metairie Cemetery is very helpful, answers inquiries and has decent hours of availability. They were more helpful than most.
Much to my dismay, the old door to the photo request's crypt had been removed, or has been flipped over.
Unfortunately, my relative's crypt # 4418 in Metairie is so overgrown that I was not able to find it without the use of F A G's GPS tags.
Thank you for this extra tidbit of information. I appreciate all help I can get.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend.

I was so hoping this was my Zoe...can't find her death. I did, however, find Ike's obit so I now know that they were no longer married. By divorce or death I still don't know. BTW, I said Zoe was an Aunt....sorry, she is a cousin, what was I thinking? Lol!

Barbara, thank you for all the work you are doing it greatly appreaciated by everyone.
I checked my files and I have Clothide Baudoin born in St. Charles and died Orleans Parish, I know I will probably make several mistakes don't mine being corrected. I traveled to Hahnville a couple of times, went throug courthouse records, met relatives got a lot of information from them. I visited cemeteries , and got information off the tomb stones, brought birth, death, and marriage records. I have 19 Volumes of Archidocese of New Orleans Sacramental records, also 22 volumes of Diocese of Baton Rouge books. Have several other geneology books, information off the Census, and there is lots of information in find a grave which will help peace a lot of our families together. I know a lot of the information i have added, with no cemetery is because most of those graves I have been told or in the Mississippi River, and I found so many of the graves or destroyed or loss. I live in Ca, but hope to visit Louisiana again real soon.
