The memorial is large at this cemetery on both sides, I have tried to make a pic but it did not turn out so I could copy, I think what needs to be done is all those names need to be added to site with no pic. Thanks

|William Price||RE: Frank Shields|
Hi Reed I have about four Frank Shields members in my family line. The only one that is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Jackson, Hinds, MS., is Frank Leroy "Pete" Shields On findagrave memorial # 46658401 it indicates his death Jackson, Hinds, MS. If you can't find under Frank you might try his nickname Pete. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to try and find his grave.

I am searching for the burial site of Nancy Mabry Coons Parker. I have been told that she is buried in this Cemetery. She was born 1881 & died 1862 in possibly Leake County Mississippi. I am also searching for her first husband Martin P Coons born 1807 in Georgia & died 1833 in possibly Leake County Mississippi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Her second husband was Anderson Parker 1808-1868.

The prison is at Fort Delaware and is located on Pea Patch Island in the middle of the Delaware River between Delaware City, DE and Fort Mott State Park, Pennsville, NJ. Fort Delaware is only accessible by passenger ferry operated by the Delaware River Bay Authority during the spring and summer months. The ferries run scheduled round trips from Delaware City, DE and Pea Patch Island and between Pea Patch Island and Fort Mott State Park, NJ.
The cemetery is located in Pennsville, NJ and is accessible by automobiles. I'ts about a mile directly behind Fort Mott State Park. In the summer they have civil war reenactments, if you ever have a chance to come to area it's best to visit then. If you do be sure to bring insect repellent.
The Confederate Monument stands 85 foot tall concrete and granite obelisk has 12 bronze tablets containing the names of 2436 Confederate prisoners of war who died at Fort Delaware and reinterred in mass graves at Finns Point National Cemetery. It also has a Union Monument with 135 names of men who died at Fort Delaware.
Hope that helps,
Debbie aka The Bull
