RE: Mabelle Van Wert
I made the transfers you asked for. I did not see their other children or any other Van Wert's, I was able to walk almost directly to their site and only spent about 5 minutes there. However if I should go by there again I will keep them in mind.

Mabelle Van Wert
Mabelle was the daughter of Webster William and Arah Bell Van Wert. The grave stone says William and Arahbelle, the picture may not be clear enough to see this.

It's alright with me to make a copy of her death certificate.

RE: Carpenters home
Jean: You can drive back to the Carpenter's Cemetery. It's the road that runs beside Applebee's on Socrum Loop. Coming from Lakeland Hills to Socrum Loop you have to make a U-turn at the light and turn beside Applebee's and go straight back on that road. It turn into a two track but just keep following it and you will end up at the cemetery. Just went there to make sure how to tell you so took the photo request there. Can't believe how bad the stones all look. Don't know who takes care of it anymore. Looks like no one. Karen

RE: Old Jordan Littles Cemetery

It is a very small cemetery. All the marked graves are on the site. Joseph was most likely the first person buried there as his is the oldest grave there. THe last person to be buried there was his son, William in 1930.

Which of Joseph's children is your husband descended from?

I will transfer those 2 for you. I took photos of all nearby stones and did not see Norman. Perhaps he does not have a marker or is in another part of the cemetery. It is a huge place, and without section/lot numbers you can't begin to find anything. Wasn't sure if Susie DeWard was a Colombo (on that marker) as she also has another small marker which just has Susie De Ward. If she's not connected, I'll create a page.

RE: John Bowles @ Bushwood Cemetery
I looked at the picture taken and it IS one of the people I found in the cemetery but he is NOT with the Keenans.

Let me know if you want any of the other pictures!

RE: John Bowles @ Bushwood Cemetery
I have some bad news. I was ALLLL around the cemetery. I found the area where you were talking about. Found the Following:

John D Keenan
December 2 1895
May 30, 1965

Roberta Keenan

1903 - 1973

1891 - 1973

Beloved Wife of Webster Bowles
Born Jan8 1889
Died June 2 1913

S Sgt
US Army
World War II
June 1, 1910
July 4, 1972

That is all of those family Names in that area.

In another section, I found:

John W Bowles
Born Mar 22 1860
Died Feb 7 1927

Mrs. John W Bowles
Born Feb 11, 1861
Died June 23, 1944

And in another section I found:

April 13, 2002

Joseph E Bowles

Feb 28 1974

(his daughter I'm guessing is buried with him)
Rachel Ann
Aug 31 1937
? 12, 1959

John R Bowles
Feb 5, 1912
July 20, 1993

There is his wife, who appears to still be living, with her name inscribed on the stone as well, with a birth date but no death date.

Infant Sons of Margaret & Joe Bowles
John R.

June 18 1968

John Bowles @ Bushwood Cemetery

I was @ Sacred Heart Cemetery (Bushwood, MD) today and I have to say, this is a HUGE cemetery with 5 different sections, a couple hundred people in each section. Any guidance you can give me as to a location of his grave would be very helpful! I'm happy to get a picture....but thus far I have not found the Bowles Family in the section I've been able to scour.
