Awesome! I am about an hour and a half from Birmingham. I hope to get over there sometime and visit the library and do some research at the cemeteries.

|cfenters||Acton Memorial Cemetery|
Thank you for fulfilling my photo requests for members of the Acton & Maske family in Acton Memorial. I really appreciate the time and effort taken to get these photos for me. I was at that cemetery several years ago & found my gg-grandfather's stone in the back right corner nearest the church. I had just gotten started on my family tree at that time. It is a beautiful drive out there. I haven't been able to get back to Alabama since 2012 when I fell twice that year. Anyway, thanks a lot!

Thank you for the info on this guy. He is listed on Find A Grave 47993143 so I guess there is a marker. Maybe the private property owners will care for the cemetery and who knows it may change hands one day and become accessible.

|Vicki Akin Khalili||Akin of Harlingen|
I am Vicki Akin daughter of Bill, grand daughter of Willie and Effie and Sister of Lonnie (Red). I have so little knowledge of Willie's side of the family. I visited with 2 of Willies sisters in Ft Worth one was blind.when I was 12 in about 1967.They were very nice. Especially when my dad became I'll a few years later and died in his early 40's. I just have such little knowledge of his side of the family.

I am a descendant from George C. Reed's son Armer Reed. I want to say thanks for all the information on this, my 5th great grandfather's page on "find a grave". I have searched for info on the Revolutionary War history of George Reed for some time and I really appreciate all that you have posted on that site.

Sorry, but her memorial shows her in grave 4 just to the right of Joseph's marker. The overview photo shows it unmarked. I checked Rose Hills on-line directory, and they do not have a Gladys Denne listed.

Joseph Stabs Death Cert states he was single tavern owner. He died from lobar pneumonia. I can not attach here. Let me know if you would want it attached to his Find A Grave memorial. I also have his obituary.

|Beth in Colorado||Alabama Relatives|
I have all kinds of Alabama relatives, Bob. My father's side hailed from Alabama, moving from there to Texas in 1860 or so, on to Oklahoma in the early 1900's or earlier. Cargo, Huddleston, Sexton, Walker, McCay/McKay. And collateral lines from there. The Walkers are my brick wall. I have Glasscocks in my direct line, but pretty far back. Cargo's are originally from Blount County. Walkers from Washington & Choctaw counties. I need to visit county courthouses, everything. I need to retire, is what I need to do, but that won't be for a while. I do love the ancestor search, though! I love this stuff! McNeal/McNeil, too. I'm a whole bunch of Scots Irish. My brother thinks I'm nuts, but I know better.
Anyway, sometime THIS TIME next year, then! I'll keep that in mind!
