Woodstock
Hi Allegro,
Check out Woodstock Cemetery sometime; it's a huge one across the road from the Artists Cemetery (of which some of the graves are listed in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Wopdstock; that's the old name, and the oldest section).
Rick Danko, Levon Helm, and surely others of creative interest, are in the larger Woodstock Cemetery. Thanks for posting the ones for Artists; I'll get shots up when I can!

Veterans
PS Robert Angeloch was also a veteran; he served in the US Army in WWII.

Artists Cemetery
Uh-oh, look what I've started, at the Artists Cemetery! ;-p
If you feel like making a listing for Enzo Baccante, 1887-1938, I do have a couple of shots of his incredibly gorgeous marker all ready to post. I'm just about to post one for Paul W. Pryor, who is listed, but doesn't have a pic; I just liked his inscription.
I also have a couple of pictures of the artistic marker for artist Robert Angeloch, 4/8/1929-3/18/2011.
I took one shot of the marker for George Surasky, 3/16/1915-1/11/2011, and his wife Lillian Surasky, 5/16/1920-8/21/2010, but I noticed later that a bird had left its calling card on the stone, so I'll go back and re-shoot it. He was a musician and she was an artist, and their mutual stone is decorated to indicate that.
I always love an opportunity to cruise that cemetery, but may not be able to get there again until later next week. However, there's also a long-time findagrave couple here in Woodstock who are devoted documenters of cemeteries, and they may beat me to it.
Hope you have a great night!

Brown
Ah yes, that makes sense, that his middle name is indeed Coit. I have seen it both ways, but the connection to the tower makes sense. I LOVE the Coit Tower!
I only inspected about 1/10th of the place the other day, but noticed that along with a whole bunch of just folks, military veterans, etc., there are professional musicians and dancers who are neighbors with the visual artists resting in the Artists Cemetery.
Just let me know if you want photos of any of them. (I noticed that you have a virtual cemetery of musicians.)
Best, Julie

Artists Cemetery
Hi Allegro,
I did get the phone number of the contact person for the Artists Cemetery when I was last there, if you should ever happen to feel like asking them if they have a list of the "occupants". I haven't called it yet, but intend to, to ask if they have a map.
The number is 845-679-2663.
Blessings, Julie

Brown
Just one more detail; I am not absolutely certain, but I believe Bolton Brown's middle name was "Colt", rather than "Coit."

Bolton Brown
Hi Allegro,
I'm about to upload some shots of Bolton Brown's boulder. The arts colony he founded, as you probably know, is Byrdcliiffe Arts Colony, and his co-founders were Ralph Radcliffe Whitehead, his wife Jane Byrd McCall Whitehead, and Hervey White.
One of the shots of Mr. Brown's boulder shows the shrine to (and graves of) the Whiteheads in the background. It features a large, ceramic, Della-Robbia-style plaque.
The info on the page for the cemetery indicates that there are 52 graves there, but I'm going to guess that the number is more like 500.
Some of the markers are wonderful works of art, and strolling through the place feels like visiting a museum. I'd be happy to take photos of more, if anyone wishes to create the memorial pages.
Blessings, Julie

Bieby/Bibby
Hi Allegro,
I just added photos to the memorials of Henry Bibby and Sylvia Bibby, who are at rest at the Artists Cemetery in Woodstock, NY. I noticed that the spelling of the surname on the marker is "Bibby", and not "Bieby".
Kindest regards, Julie

RE: Elsie Marston
You are very welcome for the photo. Beside Elsie was Malissie Forsythe, she wasn't listed on Find A Grave so I added her but I'm not sure what her relationis to Elsie or the other Forsythes there. Perhaps this will help your search.
