I am just now connecting Esther Louisa Zuehl Bonnette to her parents. Not sure if you are related, but since you sponsor the memorials of many of the Zuehls, I thought you might be interested.

Please do not YELL at ME!
It truly was an accident. My records also say May. And she is related to me.

Thanks. What a difference a letter can mean in a last name. The difference between finding anything on the person and not.

Many thanks for your excellent (as usual) photos. I especially wanted to see Mrs, Davisson's. I wonder if the date plaques were removed by the family or whether they were stolen. Very strange.

Thanks again for your excellent images. I especially like the fact that you take a picture of the joint marker plus one of each spouse's side.

Thanks, for the transfer. I tried before to get info on her with not much luck. Will try again. Same for her husband, Thomas Lambert Kramer. There was a Thomas L. Kramer who received the Congressional Medal of Honor in the Civil War that I feel may be connected to him, but no luck so far in finding it. Will try some more.

Many thanks for your excellent (as usual) pictures. The "concrete" one was a surprise: the MCGS listing said it was homemade, but I've seen ones like it in many garden shops. I did find a real homemade concrete marker last year, where the concrete was actually poured and the inscription written in before it set. The Kurk memorial was a real puzzle for me to solve. Fortunately the listing gave her full dates, which helped me to find info on her. I never did find anything on Mr. Kurk. Best wishes.

Thanks for your photos of their markers. I know that shade trees make it hard to get get images. To solve Clara's birth year differences between the state & Social Security indexes, I tried to read the birth year on the photo but couldn't be sure wither way.

Thank you for taking and posting the picture of Chris Manning's grave. She was my best friend while we were in the Army. God Bless.

Peter, thank you so much for taking a picture of my aunt and uncle's graves. They did not have any children so I am glad that I will now be able to leave flowers for them from across the country.

Yes, it's a temp. aluminum marker probably furnished by the funeral home. The grounds keepers at the cemetery seem to take great care around markers, so hopefully it will be there as long as is necessary. Let me know if I can be of any further help. -Gene

You're most welcome on the pics. I know how difficult it is for some families to get everything right when it comes to markers, (I experienced the same situation when my father died in 1960). It took 8 yrs to get his marker. I live about 10 minutes up the road from Southern Memorial Gardens, and go there often. I'm retired and have the time to keep an eye on Ricky & Paula's site, and should a permanent marker appear, I'll add a photo to their memorials and remove the originals. Your emails went through, it's just that Spaminator stops them so I can sort through any spam. Do you want me to transfer Paula and Jo Ann to you? -Gene

Thanks for your photos. It solved a problem I had with the MCGS list which showed different dates for her which didn't match the obit or her SSDI, but did match someone of the same name except for middle initial who died in 2004.
