I am local historian and you have this white Confederate soldier buried in an African American Cemetery. Also this cemetery didn't exist in 1872.
He should be marked as burial location unknown. There are two white cemeteries in the Wooster area that he could be buried in and I'll check them out over the holiday weekend.

Hi, Im sorry I also do not know the name of Mary's mother. We have searched for years and cannot find that information. Mary is my 10th Great Grandmother. Mary was married twice. Some belileve that she had children with a man by the name of "Harvey". That could be where you have found the additional children. Some say that Robert raised these children as his own. My family discovered that she did Marry twice but her second husband married her after Robert's death. I have listed as her children: Ann, Robert, Deliverance, Nathaniel, Daniel, Sarah, John and Elizabeth. I tried your personal email but my yahoo account said it was invalid. Hope this helps. Julie

I'm sorry I don't know more and no, I'm no relation. I am just a volunteer photographer trying to add all the folks buried here in Conway and some surrounding areas so folks can find their ancestors.
Good luck with your search.

G.L. ~ I will turn in a request for a location for the burials you requested. Please be advised that it takes two to four weeks to get a response from the cemetery and then I will drive down to take the pictures. I will not claim the requests right now because they will expire before I can get down there. If you have any questions or comments please let me know. ~ Karin Love

|Chris||Nicholas Wright in Oyster Bay|
Hi.......thank you for sending me the photo-request for Nicholas Wright's gravesite (1609-1682) in Oyster Bay. I've never been to that cemetery and have always wanted to see it. It is one of the oldest cemeteries on Long Island. It's a small cemetery with only between 30 and 45 plots. Those headstones will be so faded, and finding Nicholas may prove to be extremely difficult, but I will give it a try. I find it amazing that you are related to Nicholas. I live in Bayville and have a friend that is also related to the Oyster Bay Wright family from the 1600's as well. If I find Nicholas' headstone, I will photograph it for you. Take care, and have a good night.
