Barbara (Burns) Mc Carty
RE: Nicholas Burns
The inscription is posted on his memorial page. I don't know if his stone still stands but, assume it is near his second wide Lydia (Patterson) Burns.

LaMoyne Pearson
Hi! I was wondering if you were kin to one of the records you maintain - LaMoyne Pearson. She is my great aunt, and we are looking for info on her. Would you have any pictures, etc?

RE: Norine Overpeck Blake (116966708)
I am just going to use the Rockville, Parke County, Indiana as death place since it is stated in the record. Thanks so much.

Norine Overpeck Blake (116966708)
According to the Barnes Mortuary Records 1971-1990 pg. 6
Blake, Norine b. 4-9-1898 Parke Co, IN to Elias Overpeck & Mary Miller d. 12-6-1985 Parke Co Hosp. Rockville Bur. Mt. Moriah. Husb. Roscoe died 1942.

Please let me know which dates are accurate so I can update my records if needed. Also noted in your biography some spelling errors, especially husband's name Roscoe as noted on tombstone, thought that might help you out and thank you for your contributions.

RE: Samuel & Sarah Sailor
Thanks for creating all three of those memorials for my Sailor ancestors. I've been looking for this family connection for quite some time. Since you aren't related would you mind transferring them to me? Thanks for your consideration.

RE: Horace Price Sailor
Yes, in a way. I found his siblings and wanted to locate the parents to link them all. Sad reading his children after the death of his first wife Sara were adopted by the Grandfather and Aunt.

Thanks for your reply

Carol Guinn Jenkins
Hi Debra, Have I asked you before---if I have, I am sorry to repeat myself, but what is your connection to the Guinn family? Arthur Cradrick Guinn is my great great grandfather. Sorry if I have asked this before--getting old makes you forgetful. Carol

Mary Kathryn Kozy
RE: Warner
I don't actually have one from when they were on the original Warner home place. I only have one from Centerville taken right after they were moved and are still very legible. Happy to share that when I can dig it out and scan it for you!

John Warner and Malinda (Duke) Warner Crews

Just wanted you to know that from what I've been told, you are correct on John's memorial that the bodies were not moved. My understanding (and I saw these headstones in Centerville Cemetery in Jan 1995 not long after they were moved and talked to the Warner descendant who still owns the land where they were originally buried) was that they John & Malinda were buried on the Warner home place under a tree whose roots were starting to break up the markers. They decided to remove them. Fortunately, I have a photo from when they were first moved that's fairly easy to read. Weather has not been kind to these now that they are in the open and lying face up. The writing has faded quite a bit in the last 20 years...

Mary Kathryn (Crews) Warner
3rd-g-granddaughter of Malinda by her second husband, James Crews

RE: John Snyder
Hi Gregg.. Mary had her own stone, located beside John.. I didn't initially post her marker photo as the dates were very hard to read and I wasn't quite sure.. But after receiving your message, I went ahead and uploaded a plot picture to her memorial (#36069081) showing John & Mary beside one another and also individual pics of Mary's marker. I also added 2 more pics to John's memorial page for you.

RE: Jonathon Ashford
You are welcome! I hope you noted that I gave credit to the original photographer and that my only contribution was adding it to the memorial! I hope to get the rest of his photos added to this cemetery soon.

PS, I really like and agree with the last paragraph on your bio page, you nailed it!
