I am trying to update Volume 7 of the Moose History and would like to know if you are related to this family ?
My question is who she was married to was Henry Luther Lowder her husband or child ?
His parents are Daniel Henry & Elizabeth Harwood " Fannie " Lowder

I noticed that you posted many at Lanes Chapel, Montgomery Co, NC.
I am looking for Marinda "Rinda" Hall Redwine b1827 d1863. Rinda was the wife of James M Redwine b1825 d1899.
I am also looking for John Redwine b1790 d1859. John was married to Rebecca Daniel Redwine b1793 d1863.
Both James Redwine & Rebecca Daniel Redwine are at Lanes Chapel.
Are you near Lanes Chapel?
Would you consider checking to see if you could find Rinda's & John's stones & taking photos of them?
Please let me know.
Thanks so much.

Morris/ Russell/ Chandler Family
I have updated my tree following new findings
I have added memorials for
George Wyatt Morris 151489452
Malisse Ann Moss Morris 151489512

Based on the Bible entry and the 1860 census

Jane Ann married Mr. Willis Edward Russell not Mr. Chandler
Younis Ann Morris married Mr. Chandler.

I cannot find Eliza Malissa Russell. She is listed on the 1870 and 1880 census. Her mother died in 1872. I could not find a marriage record either. All of her siblings are buried with their father Willis Edward Russell 62108821 in Lanes Chapel.

I totally understand. Thank you for responding so quickly. See Memorial #42409923, created September 26, 2009. I ran across the memorial by accident but it indicated "Burial Unknown." I contacted the contributor to try to get the two memorials combined since both have such great information. Would you please contact Find A Grave Support and request they be merged with you being the creator?

I'll get the other info to you when the two are combined. I don't want to get the memorial "overloaded" with too much info.

Thank you again,
Jane #47673022

Thank you SO MUCH for posting the photo of her headstone. I was told she only had a marker! This is wonderful. However, I can't make out what the inscription says below her "Age 22 yrs 8 dys". Any chance someone might have that information that you know of. THANKS again.

I have edited the maiden name for Margaret Bowers. If you click the linked child, Wiley, you will see that it says his mother was Margaret R Lipe.

Please review and see what you think.

Kindest Regards,
Linda Mott

Lanes Chapel corrections
Hello there...

I just wanted to thank you...although belatedly...for all the corrections you did on the Lanes Chapel memorials. I have not been doing much on my F-A-G work lately, and found another folder on my e-mail where I had tucked corrections to be made. There are about 14 more, so is it okay to send them to you? I'm so sorry for the trouble!

Best wishes,

Dottie Wilkie

Lanes Chapel corrections

Thank you so much for the corrections. There are more that need doing, but we are leaving tomorrow for a week in New Jersey. When we get back I'll send them on, ten at a time. This will give you a breather!!!!

Again, thanks for the help,

Thank you for doing the corrections! I finally added all my photos and have 28 more corrections. Do you want me to send them all at once or divide them up? This project has taken a lot more time than I expected. No more large cemeteries for me!

My best,

RE: Lanes Chapel
I'm glad you're not too overwhelmed with the requests. I will stop sending corrections for the time being just to let you catch up. Also, please let me know if you find anything that I sent in that seems wrong.

I have not had any ghostly feelings at Lanes Chapel, but I don't think I'm very open right now as far as the paranormal goes. But, my husband and I were at an old cemetery in the woods of Richmond County once and a very large branch fell right in front of me. That did give me pause. I have felt sad about all the children's graves at Lanes Chapel. There's a lot of sadness connected to this.

Best wishes,

Hello to you,

I need to offer you a sincere apology for sending you so many correction requests...I think I am about double what F-A-G wants a contributor to send for a week!
I'll add pictures, but hold off on the corrections until later. Also, I knew there were mistakes in our Montgomery County lists, but did not know that it is to the extent it is. Over time, I hope to get the F-A-G list for Lanes Chapel accurate. I chose to take pictures there because so many of the old stones, especially the native/slate stones are deteriorating.
Please feel free to "tell me off" for sending all the corrections!!!
Thank you for your hard work on find a Grave!

Best wishes, Dottie Wilkie
