|Larry Tally||RE: Deyo's|
Good morning Jeff,
You are very welcome. I enjoyed fulfilling the request and the headstones are in a beautiful part of the cemetery.

Hi you sent a message about this being a duplicate memorial but I only see the one I created 123719021.
Could you give me the other memorial number. Thanks

Sorry, but I denied your edit linking Elizabeth to a William Deyoe. According to her DC, she died at age 17, single, with tuberculosis. The only record I could find is her arrival in the US at age 10, destination Grand Rapids, MI.
If I find another Elizabeth, I'll send you an email.

I believe you're correct on the date and I changed it. I did not see Charlie there but I will stop when I'm in that direction and take another look to be sure.

Sorry, no, the transcription does not list any others buried in this plot. Perhaps someone at the Court House can help you. Their website is http://www.co.green.wi.gov/ Death records would be in the Register of Deeds office. Good luck! Jenean

I have no further information for you regarding Richard or Alice. I did not find obituaries in the Chicago Tribune for those names. Since you have no biographical information in the memorials I do not know how to begin to look up possible birth or death dates.
For instance, were Richard and Alice married, in what time period did they live, who are their parents or children, etc. This cemetery does not help photo volunteers, so any info you can provide is definitely needed in order to assist you. There is not an alphabetical listing of burials at this cemetery available.
"DEYO - Mrs. Matilda Deyo, wife of Henry W. Deyo, mother of Eleanor, John, and George, at Waterloo, Ia. Funeral services Monday, Feb. 26, at chapel, Forest Home cemetery, Chicago, at 3 p.m., under the auspices of Lady Washington chapter, No. 28, Order of the Eastern Star. Members requested to attend." I was filling some photo requests at Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery today and I came across a Deyo headstone. I've read your bio before and snapped a picture in case it could be used. While Charlotte Deyo was listed for this cemetery, her daughter, Jennie, was not. I just wanted to let you know that I added the photos.

Hello! No, I don't have directions, as I never been to New York, but would love to go sometime to see where our relatives began their lives in the US. I am not sure if Walloon cemetery is the same as the Huguenot; sounds like they might be, but was confused myself.
I hope you are able to see the graves and the area. I would love to see photos you might take. I am having a blast learning about our families.

Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.
Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.

|John T||RE: Sherall Deyoe|
According to the township clerk the cemetery was privately owned until the township took ownership less than 10 years ago. The record keeping before the change of ownership was sloppy the records that they received were in "shoe boxes"
Many burials were done by family members without involvement of the owners.
It is a good bet that Sherall is buried in the cemetery but where isn't recorded.

Just put the new picture on. I didn't see any other Deyos. Gene is on a corner but either side is not Deyo. I couldn't clean the stone-today melting snow, 35 mph winds & 29 degrees. Might be able to clean it this summer.
