Your welcome. The credit actually goes to Ed Townsend. He took the picture, but he is having me create memorials for this section of the cemetery. I helping him out by completing a couple of sections.

Thank you Vernie. I shall make the change. I've been without my family tree since XP ended so could not look up any additional info I have. Pat

Olif Bryson
Hi Vernie, I received your edit request to change this given name to Olive. I've used the name, Olif, listed on her death certificate since it's spelled various ways on census'. That's not unusual as you never know who gave the information to enumerators - sometimes even neighbors - thus lots of errors. I'll be more than happy to make the change if you have something concrete to refute the DC. THANKS! Pat

RE: Minnie Brendess
Brendess is not a common name. Minnie's parents could have moved away to another state, back to Russia or most likely they died after 1915. If the latter is the case, then their death certificates are not available on line, due to the 72 year (92 year in Mass) vital record hold. I would suggest an inquiring be made to the Children of Israel Cemetery in Haverhill. My instinct tells me that she is most likely buried there.

RE: Meimn Brendess
Vernie,
Looking at the death certificate it states "Hebrew Cemetery". Because the child was born and died at 93 River Street, Haverhill, MA it would seem odd that her parents in 1905 was decide to bury er her more than 75 miles away. I have checked the "Hebrew Cemetery' entries here at the "Hebrew Cemetery' in Fall River, MA and can not find her parents or any relative connection. I believe that she was buried in a cemetery of Hebrew faith in Haverhill, MA. Please see the list below.

You are very welcome, I guess you can tell from some of the stones they aren't in the best of shape & some very hard to read. I am working on section 8 & section 9 of Highland. I will try to redo the Motleys & see if they come out any better, it is weird that the ones beside the Motleys(Laramore) turned out so much better, but they were different type stones. Ok, later, LarryLarry

It would appear that the original memorial, made a year earlier, is in the wrong Friendship cemetery. The photo of the marker shows that he and his wife are interred in the same cemetery side by side. A memorial made for his wife at about the same time his was made places her in the correct cemetery (where the marker was photographed). It would likely be more appropriate for the Find A Grave administrators to combine the two memorials for this man and leave it in the correct cemetery. I don't care about who manages it as he is not kin to me. I placed him based on the information on his death certificate and created the links through researching his family.
