Hi Joe

Sorry that I did not get your mail earlier. I think we perhaps emailed a few times on Ancestry.

I sent a reply there for you to get as it was lengthy.

RE: Butterwood Church Cemetery
Joe,
Thanks ever so much for all your Butterwood photos. They have helped me a great deal to sort out many of the relocated interments from Fort Pickett, with many more to go!
Best Regards, Louise

RE: Butterwood Church Cemetery
Hi Joe,
Just finished going through your new photos & made additions/corrections where appropriate to the memorials. Henrietta is listed with a birth year of 1855, so I'll leave it at that because it jives with the 1850 Census. I left you with 2 more requests. When you are making the additional memorials, please check women under their maiden names as last names. Some of the listing of the headstones don't show the married last name if on a shared stone. Please send me a list of the new memorials that you create, so I can check for duplicates. and help make the family connections. Thanks for your prayers and best wishes; the same from me for your Uncle & Dad! Hope they are recovering.
Peace, Louise

RE: Butterwood Photo Requests
Thanks Joe for your continuing contributions for Butterwood Church. It is said that there are over 950 graves, only about half with headstones or markers. A colaborative project that benefits many!

Hi Joe,

No I am not related. I have just started to photograph the graves in Oakwood. I eventually hope to get a lot of them photographed.

Butterwood
Hi Joe,
Thank you so much for taking the time to fill my photo requests at Butterwood. I made the change to Gill West and added Emmett West with a request, so you can use the same photo for both.

Thanks, Louise

Butterwood
Hello Joe,
I am glad to see you are adding photos to the Butterwood Cemetery. The memorials I have created there were taken from a Tomb written about the 1941-42 expansion of Fort Pickett, many of them did not have gravestones at the time. I hope you will continue to do the entire cemetery. If so, the field to the east is where the interments were relocated to, so take a really good look around. There are over 900 graves there. When you do add a photo to one of my memorials, please go through the edit tab to the make a suggestion/correction and send me a short note that you did so. Then I can go back and add or fix information. Great Job!
Regards, Louise
