Saint Margaret's
Do you still need photos of the individuals listed for Saint Margaret's in Chillicothe, OH? I live only a few blocks away. Let me know.

RE: Ricker
You are welcome.
You might be interested in the other Rickers that I shot and added to the group in Greenwood Cemetery. Both sides of the monument had engravings on it. Jim

No problem. I love genealogy and going to the cemetery, so it was my honor...

I got out of the rain and entered into a cold front with no jacket on! Gotta love Texas... LOL

God Bless, and stay safe,

Sorry I didn't get the photo of Spencer's headstone. I will go back either later today or Wednesday and get the picture. It looked like it was going to pour down rain and I was trying to hurry up...

God Bless,

John Wheat
Thanks for the clarification. That was a lot of help. I'll make sure to make a note of it in my family tree.

John Wheat
I'm confused about something that maybe you can answer. On John Wheat's memorial, you have his parents as: Benjamin Wheat & Sarah Wright Wheat, yet his name, birthdate & death date are on the tombstone with Ebenezer Sprague Jr & Mary Chamberlain Sprague. Why would his name be on the Sprague tombstone?

John is a relative of mine, but not a direct one. I just want to make sure I'm entering the correct information into my family tree.

I think I uploaded her husband's side of the marker. If not, I will need to capture it again for you bc I have already deleted the photo from my hard drive. Sorry :(

RE: mess up photo
This is weird. The picture, using your link, appears upright to me on the memorial. I am beginning to suspect a Find A Grave issue when it is showing it posted sideways to you but looks correct to me when I call up the memorial.. I did just delete the picture and then re-added it, but I have no idea if that helped since the photo still appears correct on my side. Can you let me know if it is still showing sideways to you? If it does, I will ask for help on the discussion boards. Thanks for letting me know. I hate for things to appear wrong. I take my being a photo volunteer seriously, and want my pictures to enhance the memorial, and not to appear like I didn't pay close enough attention and posted the picture sideways.

RE: Picture

This is strange, because the above shows to me that the monument picture posted upright. It shows differently for you?

Not sure I understand what you mean when you asked if I can rotate picture to the right. Looks like it posted ok to me. Can you clarify?

Ken Cramer -'no stone' - makes it tough to look for...the age also since there are 3 'Babyland' areas and some everywhere in the cemetery. I got an idea - how about a photo of the main one? Fred

Re: photo request
Glad to try and help you but I need an idea where his grave is in this 100 acre place with nearly 80,000 deceased folks in it. Many have no markers.
Write the office and request it. They'll send you some info. Check the main page on F.A.G. and the last photo should show you the sections which have numbered lots inside...Fred

You have Submit Wheat #35186744 listed as both his sister & his daughter. She is the daughter of Benjamin Wheat #111515062 & Sarah Wright #111524713. Her birth date is 22 Jan 1777 Colrain, Mass. & death date 15 Aug 1838 Whitingham, Windham, Vermont. The Submit that was born in 1805-1848 is the daughter of Benjamin Wheat & LuAnna Sprague. I have sent in a request to get this corrected. She is married to William Billings which is correct. Hope this is not too confusing. It took me a while to figure it out. If you would like me to correct it, if it is too confusing, I would be glad too, if you just want to transfer them to me. They are distant ancestors of mine. I have verified Submit's birth from the Vermont Vital Records.
