RE: John Paul Sprenger
It's only fitting that I've volunteered taking photos, as I have asked for many photos to be taken of my own relatives in the Midwest.

It was my great pleasure to help you.

RE: Nicholas DuBach #143859812
I think you're right, Otto. Here's what he said "This was my second great grandfather through the line of James DuBach (Chicago police official), one of Nicholas’ sons." There is apparently a big reunion coming up - the 800th anniversary of the Dubach name - in France in August and he wants permission to use my material. Hopefully he'll find his way back to me. Thanks for your help.

Google cemetry inscriptions
Go to google and type

full text of cemetery inscriptions stark county Ohio.

It is supposed to be all records microfilms info that was released to latter day saints in 1990. It is the inscriptions on cemetery stones in several cemeteries around here. Maybe you might find the one you are looking for.
The bummer thing about that site is... You can't jump to a page or search... Just keep scrolling :)

I read your bio and if you are related in any way to any of the ones you sent edits for, please let me know, and I will be happy to transfer. If you want any please go to edit tab at top of memorial, and just ask for them, you Find A Grave # will show up and it will be easier to transfer. I have been very blessed by caring people who transfer to me, and these are not related to me, so I always pay it forward. Please feel free to ask.

Terry Magyar
John Giffen of TN ?
Roscoe "Rusty" Raymond Giffin, b: 1 Jan 1914 d: 24 Jan 1962 ( He's related to me, lol)
---------------------------------------------

I've not yet examined the TN Giffin family, but I recognize you've done some fine work on Find A Grave.
----------------------------------------------
Take a look at John Giffen, Mem# 14158553.

1812, a private for Capt. F. B. Ellis Co., Tenn Military

1820, Dickson, Tennessee, United States

1824, married Harriet Catherine Rainwater Dickson, Tennessee, United States

1840, Cole Co., MO

1847, died in Cole Co., MO

Could this John Giffen have been born in Dickson Co., TN or connected to the GIFFENs of TN ?

RE: Children of Jesse & Martha Territt Glass
Otto, these people are all on my wife's side of the family. I'm sure she can fill us in on Mary Lou Glass Wines. It will have to wait until this evening when I get home.

Am unfamiliar with a G W Glass or a G J Glass being the son of Jesse Dayton Glass and Martha Territt. My wife's mom was Ruth Glass Taylor (1918-1998), daughter of Jesse D and Martha; I'll see if my wife has any recollection of him.

Cashmans in St Joseph cemetery
I have been throughout and photographed all visible headstones and will upload them in the near future. The only marker for Cashman is a single large one with the surname. I can fullfill all the requests but they will all have the same photo if you like. sorry there are no engraved details for each person.

Otto, You are very welcome. This is something new to the wife and me. We got the bug going over to my father's home of Scott Co. Virginia and looking for all of my relatives there and thought why not help out in Blount Co. where Maryville, TN is our home.

We will take what ever you got and do our best.
Regards, Joe (Clarence)

RE: St Mary's cemetery
I've been to the cemetery a few times and looked for your other requests (Eckroate and Paul) and haven't had any luck so far. The Pauls are not in the 1985 cemetery reading, so I believe their marker is probably one of those that is impossible to read, or else missing. The cemetery reading shows two illegible stones next to Emily Paul 1849-1957, Philip Paul 1822-1862, Louis Paul 1856-1904, and Emma Paul 1823-1898. Are those family members that Magdelina and Frederick Paul may have been buried near?
The Eckroates deaths are more recent so I've just been looking for theirs on foot. I tried phoning the church to find out for sure that there is a marker, and if so, to get the location. Basically I was told I just have to go there and hope the guy I need to talk to is available. (They weren't willing to write down the information and ask him to call me back.) If I can catch this guy I'll ask him about both - Paul and Eckroate.
I haven't given up on any of them yet so please keep the requests.

RE: Jacob & Sophia Stuppy and Anna Stuppy Beil
This is a mystery to me. I plan to ask the caretakers at St. Rose how it could be that their death certificates show them buried there, yet there are no records of them at the cemetery. They were all buried in different years, too. There are records and grave stones for other Stuppys though:
Mary E. (1888-1980) and William J. (1874-1940) side by side in one row and Rudolph E. (1888-1966) and Gertrude (1890-1971) side by side in another row. I posted these ones on Find A Grave with the photos I took of their graves.

Hi Otto,
I added an obit/death story to Katherine Tuma's page this morning. She died a tragic death. Maybe you already have this obit?

Mae Marie Keller Humphrey
Hi,
OK, I did it. I got pics of Mae Marie Keller Humphrey's grave site per your request. There were two other urn's in the niche with her. I figured out who they were and added them to Find A Grave so I could add pics to their pages as well.

RE: Ada & Charles Linberry @Bayview Cemetery
Otto,
I am sorry to report that all the four photos you requested cannot be fulfilled at this time. Ada and Charles Lindberry and Samuel and Rachel Wilson are all entombed in the mausoleum at Bayview Cemetery. The structure is under renovation which has been stopped due to budget issues. The mausoleum is locked and I cannot photograph there until the renovation is complete. The cemetery office says the work has stopped pending additional money to finish the restoration. I find this both maddening and unacceptible and will pursue the matter with the city's mayor on Tuesday. Until the work is completed there is nothing to photo except the outside of the building. If you wish a photo of the building please let me know. I will e-mail you with the result of my talk with the mayor next week. My apologies. Here is a link to the Bayview records web page:

http://www.cob.org/services/human/bayview/records.aspx

Once in, click on the "Mausoleum Entombments" at the bottom of the page. Scroll to the proper name and it will indicate the tomb.

RE: Jacob family
The Massillon Cemetery was transcribed around 1980 I believe. Here is the link to the cemetery inscription book. Click on the link then over to the left, click to view the book. Then click the tab to enlarge to full screen. Then I click the book showing 1 page to view a single page. Massillon is Book #6.

Maybe you can find some other relatives. The Territs were not on the list. (I did see some Terrets (spelled different) buried in Stark County but not by the names you were looking for).

Since the certificates say they are buried there, possibly they don't have a headstone -- or were suppose to be on one of the other monuments already there, but it was never engraved. I think you would have to contact the cemetery to see where they are located. That would hopefully solve your mystery.
