|tina quay||info on Martin Overholt/Oberholtzer 1743-1811|
Martin Overholt / Oberholtzer
Birth: Dec. 20, 1743
Death: Mar., 1811
He was married in Buck Co., Pennsylvania and they lived their early life in Buck Co. within 1/2 mile of the Delaware River. Martin was loyal to King George III during the Revolutionary War, so he with other members of the family went to Canada. He did not like the climate and he returned and immigrated to Western PA and settled in Alverton in 1799 in Westmoreland Co. The farm is now owned and occupied by Mrs. Agnes (Stauffer) Fox, a great granddaughter (written in 1903). In 1810, Martin made a trip to Ohio and selected land in Coshocton and Tuscarawas Co. He was intending to move there but six weeks before he and his family were ready to start "Kings Evil" (cancer) came on his neck. He bled 3 days and nights and died. He made his will on 14 January 1811 and it was recorded 2 March 1811. It gave his wife 1200 pounds and lists the children.

Annette, this morning I received two photo requests from Find A Grave. One for the above individual and the other for spouse or so I assume. I will be unable to fulfill your request as this is outside the area that I advised Find A Grave that I was willing to travel in order to provide this service. I apologize for any inconvenience. -mld-

|Teri||RE: Jacob Aldinger|
Most of my info on the Aldinger family came from death certificates. It is not my family line so I do not have any additional info.

Do you have any information on Samuel Dennis husband of Barbara Moyer? He was my husbands grandmothers great grandpa. I am looking for proof who his parents were. Do you know and have any documentation for proof positive? Thanks for your help.

No, I am not a direct descendant. Albacena Summers was a Snyder descendant through her grandmother Barbara Snyder Summers.

I noticed you are searching for Myers. My mother in law is a Myers, her grandfather was Calvin Earl Myers born in Penn around 1899/1900. Wonder if there is any connection? Jason.

|DSON1492||RE: Henry Kunce|
You had requested a Photo of the grave of Henry Kunce burried at Zoar cemetery in Jay Co, Indiana. I am related to him! However we have found another Henry Kunce who speeled the name different on his marker was born just a couple years of Henry at Zoar so they can be mistaken..
The other Henry is burried at the Fairview cemetery in Randolph county.. That is not to far from Zoar cemetery..
