Annette
The information I used came from records in the Kring family history. If you know of a different
cemetery, drop me a line.

Hello - I received your request for transfer on Blanche and Luella Oglevee. Blanche was transferred without incident. I hit the wrong number on Luella though so it was transferred to someone else. So sorry!! Finger and brain failure. Kimberly

I'm sorry but I am not transferring the hospital memorials at this point. If you have additional information or links I'd be happy to update the memorial with them. Thanks.

RE: Abigail Piggot 75217569
Thank you, Annette. I uploaded interment records to Whitewater Cemetery not realizing the records were actually from the Whitewater FRIENDS Cemetery. The records failed to have FRIENDS on the record. I have to correct many profiles now, as most of the folks were disinterred and reburied elsewhere. I will delete my profile of Abigail. It might be useful information to post on Abigail's other profile that she was originally buried in Whitewater Friends Cemetery.

Appreciatively,

Lisa

Hello, I saw the List of children that you posted to Ebenezer's Find A Grave. Some of the dates on the left are different from the dates on the right. Could you explain this document alittle more. Thank you for posting this.
Added by Annette Gann on May 04, 2014 9:24 AM

My understanding is the first date is each child's birth date and the second date is their baptism.

RE: Kring Family
Annette, yes I am. I am descendant of Rev. Conrad Kring, 31939014, through his son, Simon. Simon was my great-grandfather on my mother's side. So far no one has been able to figure out where Simon is buried. According to some, he's in Texas, others say he's in Arkansas, and a third group has him in Canada. I have yet to find him in any of those places.

Martin Overholt / Oberholtzer

Birth: Dec. 20, 1743
Bucks County
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Mar., 1811
Westmoreland County
Pennsylvania, USA

He was married in Buck Co., Pennsylvania and they lived their early life in Buck Co. within 1/2 mile of the Delaware River. Martin was loyal to King George III during the Revolutionary War, so he with other members of the family went to Canada. He did not like the climate and he returned and immigrated to Western PA and settled in Alverton in 1799 in Westmoreland Co. The farm is now owned and occupied by Mrs. Agnes (Stauffer) Fox, a great granddaughter (written in 1903). In 1810, Martin made a trip to Ohio and selected land in Coshocton and Tuscarawas Co. He was intending to move there but six weeks before he and his family were ready to start "Kings Evil" (cancer) came on his neck. He bled 3 days and nights and died. He made his will on 14 January 1811 and it was recorded 2 March 1811. It gave his wife 1200 pounds and lists the children.
