Hello I seen where you ask one of the Find A Grave contributors (Eugenia) about John R Bray. You asked for a photo. Are you kin to John Bray?

Daddy's Girl
Marion E Schueler Browning
I added a picture of Marion with her husband Basil and son. Found it going through my mothers pictures. Mom's mother was Basil's sister Elizabeth Browning.

RE: David and Stephen Cash
Thanks for the update. I thought their must have been a close relationship. Stephen and Dollie had a daughter named Florence. I have located her grave and will get a photo of it. I have to get in the morning when the sun is on it and the weather is good. That should complete all the stones in SH for the Cash family. Right now I am doing some painting, but hopefully by next week.

W. D. Cash
It warmed up. I went through the Cash's in the online list for Science Hill and then looked at the photo's I had taken there. I had taken one for a Stephen Cash sometime back. I had noticed his date of birth and also Dollie Stephen's. They were married. So I went back to their grave site and lo and behold there was William David's just to the right of Stephen's. He had died to years after William. Dollie died much later. So they have a much newer grave marker. Their stones face west. So I am going back out in a couple of hours when the sun is directly on the stones and no clouds so I can get a good readable photo.

I have no idea of how David and Stephen might be related as I didn't see a connection in Williams lineage in Find A Grave. I'll leave that one for you.

Happy Days! This is the third stone missed in the enumeration that I have discovered that was in the S.H. cemetery listing.

I have a list of all the burial in Science Hill Cemetery and W.D. isn't listed. I checked the Earnest William and his dates weren't correct. When I got home I checked your memorial and saw that he is in the family. I went to the historical society, but his date of death precedes when they began seriously began clipping and saving obits. There was only one from 1915 and naturally it wasn't his. Somerset Undertaking has been around since 1880, I'll check with them and see if they have any kind of record. Not all deaths when through a funeral home at that time.

If I find anything I'll let you know or you'll get notification. I'll also walk the area of the cemetery in use at the time of his death to see if he is one of the few that was over looked in being recorded when the enumeration took place in the early 70's. It has to warm up a bit first.

Samual Bixbee photo
Your welcome for the photo, but after I posted the photo I saw your bio with names of his wives - the stone has Mary as his wife - now I'm not sure it is the right one - The month of death appears to be right but I really can't read the year - If you think it is the wrong stone let me know and I will remove the photo and you can do another request

Sorry about that - I didn't see the names of the wives before I posted the photo

Hi Steve; Trying to get a photo of Private Bixbee's headstone, but could not locate in the West Millbury(MA)Cemetery. I did find a Samuel Bixby and his wife Mary (son?). Do you have a plot #? Carrie

RE: Thanks again
I was more than happy to locate the marker and get the photo for you. I had been running into a string of names that I couldn't find, so it was a huge relief to find this one. Hopefully I'll find some more for you.

Lucy and David Gilman

Somebody had already propped up Lucy's gravestone with some branches. David's gravestone was face down. We were able to turn it over to right side up.

I got your picture of Sarah's marker. I don't know if you are aware but you maybe searching some of the line as about four other people. Someone already did a picture for her husband Shadrach. Others in this line include George Dye/Killingsworth Dye and his wife Ruth. Different memorials. George and Killingsworth are the same person with two separate entries. Also look at Elizabeth Roy. They are all related. Thought this might help you. A James Randolph may also fit in this lineup somewhere. Still have to finish out at Shady Grove Cemetery in Pulaski Cty, Ky.
