Thank you for fulfilling my request for a photo of William Belford's headstone. His son James was my grandmothers grandfather. Peace, Suzy B

|Squirrel||J R Partain|
I came across a picture of J R Partain's tombstone you took. I would like to let you know that James R Partain is actually the son of James C Partain and Margarette Elmyra Shufflebarger, not Wilson C Partain and Margaret Hastings. Wilson and Margaret are James' grandparents. James was born on December 13, 1867, and died on August 13, 1915. Thought I would help :-)

Sorry, Loretta, but i don't know what memorials you are referring to. Please be specific (include memorial numbers).
Also I really don't like using these online public messages (just because I can't follow the trail. Would you mind using email? thanks again!

|Linda Gray||Re: Farrar Family|
Thank you for getting back with me Loretta. It never hurts to ask. Most of the time the answer is yes and I find another extended family member.
I am finding it particularly interesting that my maternal and paternal families have inter-relationships. For example, My fraternal grandmother's brother married my maternal grandfather's sister. And, I find this really bizarre, my maternal great-grandmother's sister married the great-grandmother's son. Apparently there was a shortage of single people!

|Farrar and related families||Farrar fam. portraits and fam. links|
Thank you for adding photo/portraits to the Farrar family memorials you have done. Please consider adding the family portrait on one of the Farrar fathers onto the children's and wife's memorial too. I would do that for you except that I thought you might want to have your link posted with the photo. Glad to read that you are very interested in your family's geneology. Thank you for your efforts on this site.You have done a terrific job.

You are quite welcome. Are you related to her? Actually, she is buried in the Joyce Cemetery (my family), which is in front of the fence surrounding the new part of Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Hi Loretta, I'm new at this and I have become a contributer. I noticed that you have added my dad's memorial. Would it be a problem for me to add to it? Thanks again,

|Suzanne Cook Taylor||RE: Hargett Book`|
Oh no problem! I was just curious as to how you came about using the book. I talked to my mom today and she knew who you were. I think what you have done is amazing! I would like to become more involved in this site. I'm active in genealogy also. In fact, I was the one who got my mother started and she became addicted!
Yes, my father just passed away a few weeks ago. We just returned from NC Thursday night. I have wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins there. Wish I could see them more. They were all so helpful to us as we said goodbye to Dad.
Thank you for responding.

|Suzanne Cook Taylor||Christabel Hargett Cook book|
Hi, I am Christabel (Bert) Hargett Cook's daughter and was wondering how you got a copy of my mom's genealogy book. I was looking up our family in Oak Grove Cemetery (Jones County) NC and noticed your name on my grandfather's information (Fred Bryan Hargett). Just wondering because they weren't available to the public generally other than what my Mom gave away.
Thanks, Suzanne Cook Taylor

I figured it out. It looks like I am currently located within 30 minutes of all but one of your photo requests, so I will do my best to get them for you when I can.

None of the manufactured headstones were the Fulkerson family. I will go back this winter after the snake, tick, chigger & poison ivy season and look for scratches or etching on the sandstone slabs.

|Brenda Ossowski||Transfer Memorials for 4 members of Chrisman Family|
Am happy to transfer them for you. The job is completed. I believe the biography is one of the most important parts of Find A Grave. We live in Michigan but travel to Southern Illinois each year and always go to Coffee Cemetery to visit our relatives who are also buried there.
