Resthaven Cemetery Photo Request
Hi,

You made a photo request on Find A Grave in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. This cemetery is ENORMOUS, so to get a photo a plot location is needed. Please contact the funeral home: wecare@resthavenokc.com

The funeral home charges non-family members (office walk-ins like me) to do plot location lookups. When you have the plot number, add it in the PLOT box (if you own the memorial). If you don't own the memorial, send me an email with the information.

Good Luck,
Kim

** I noticed you added the garden, but a more specific plot is needed. Gardens range from 100's to 1,000's of burials.**

RE: Photos
I was able to get an even closer photo today, but I want a better one. Give me a few days to borrow a camera with a zoom lens.

Regards.

The thigh wound info came from the June 1984 issue of the "Tri-State Packet" of the Tri-State Genealogical Society, had an article about the Civil War Section of Oak Hill Cemetery. The names and info of the soldiers buried there were taken from original cemetery record books. About 590 listings with 24 Confederates.

I put a photo of the memorial on his page.

His name is on this memorial in the cemetery, the exact plot is unknown.

I can round up some photos I have of the memorial.

You're welcome! Ok I deleted the one on Don's page (I didn't go to the right area & thought I couldn't delete it) but I can't do the one on Carol's because someone else added it.

Charlia, I have linked Don & Carol together. I have also transferred her to you to maintain her memorial. I put these in so maybe a relative will inquire about it, so I can transfer it to their safe keeking. Have a great day

Bill
