Alva C. Awbrey
Alva's correct name is Alva Craven, not Calvin. You can find his WWI draft registration online in Ancestry. I have done a lot of research on the Awbreys of Hardin Co., KY, and I believe Craven Awbrey of Hardin Co. might have been Alva's great grandfather. Craven was one of the sons of Samuel Awbrey, a Revolutionary War veteran, originally of Loudoun Co., VA.

RE: Aubrey/Awbrey
The four memorials have been transferred to you. I added them from a book/pamphlet written in 1997 by a lady, Mozelle Killinsworth, on the cemeteries in Cottle County. There isn't a listing for Thomas Awbrey/Aubrey in any of the cemeteries shown. I don't have a phone number for the Garden of Memories Cemetery but you may try the Seigler Funeral Home in Paducah TX. It has been the only funeral home there for many years. I don't have their phone number either. Good Luck
