Rita Sporrer
Joseph Vondra 104453814

Joe's headstone has an error in his birthdate. I have included a link to Family Search which shows his siblings and has been researched by Joe's g g niece.

This is not the first time I have found errors for my family in dates on their headstones. One set of twins are shown being born a year apart!

Thank you.

William A Scott
Hi Barb,
I was in the GAR cemetery on Monday, Sept 19th
I have many, many relatives there. I wish I had
more time but plan on coming back soon. I have
just started doing some genealogy research.
(I think you know Beverly Collins Bergman who
is my second cousin.)

The reason for this message is the dates on
the Find A Grave website for William A Scott
are not correct. It lists year of death as 1913
and it should be 1931 as is shown on the grave
marker. (Find a grave # 101385452)

I have been trying to figure out who this man
is for a while as I have no record of him.
The only William Scott I know of was my mother's
uncle who gave her a $5 gold piece when she
graduated Miller high school in 1930. Now
it makes sense ....this is the man.

Sam Miller, St. Lawrence Cemetery
Thanks, Barb, for sending G'pa Sam Miller's obituary. I don't remember if I thanked you when you sent it. Forgive me. We do appreciate having it. Glad you got the two Sam Miller's separated.
Bob and I appreciate your continued work with the cemeteries in the Miller area. Ann Winegar

Thank you for making the changes, it isn't necessary to change management. I do appreciate the offer and I thank you for submitting the record and your quick response to my suggestions.

Katherine Freier FAG# 169645973
I have a few suggested corrections. Katherine was my husband's cousin she was born in Pittsburgh PA (it was misspelled in the obituary, not your mistake) also her mother's maiden name was misspelled in the obituary, it is spelled "Schreibeis".

I hope you will make these corrections

Thank you

RE: Frank Swope # 103629594
Hi: Mount Union is a borough within Shirley Township, in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, so technically either location is correct. Since the name of the "town" is more commonly used (ie Mount Union Post Office and school), I have sent an edit to change birthplace from Shirley Township to Mount Union.
Thanks for noticing the difference.

Armstrong History
Harrington / Flood
Hi - I came across your contact info from the memorial page for Anna B Gussman Harrington - Sacred Heart Cemetery - Livingston County, Campus, Il. We're been trying to figure out the connection between Mary (Flood) Harrington and her children Elizabeth & Mary Harrington - also at the Sacred Heart Cemetery - but have not been able to come up with much information. Mary Harrington is buried in the Flood family plot and her gravestone says "Daughter" and the shared gravestone of Elizabeth and Mary Harrington say "Granddaughter". We were wondering if you are related to the "Harrington's" and if you possibly have any info about Mary (#32370948) and her children (Elizabeth & Mary) buried in the Flood plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery? There are not DOB / DOD on the gravestones - but maybe? they died before Mary's parents who are in the same plot - Michoel and Mariah? Our direct email is - please email us when you have a chance - it would be nice to compare notes? Thanks!

RE: Augusta Shrank
Barb- I have not validated by requesting state records, as I am not direct family, but his brother is my gg grandfather. I know they lived in Chicago before coming to Dakota Territory. Not certain, but it should be mentioned in some way the difference. This information I provided came from the obit card of his funeral. Let me know what you think. I will be going back to the area of the cemetery soon and will speak with the cemetery sexton/Blooming Valley Church Historian, as he has possession of the records.

Velma Butler Lowery-South Dakota
Barb, Thanks for going above and beyond in helping me out and in looking for an obit for Velma. I am enjoying working on some of the other memorials that you gave me this last time. Right now I'm working on Andrew Butler and have done some work toward Ira J. and Ida C. Brown Fisher. I assume that you provided the obit for Grace Butler Beasom and Herman Barnes--very interesting and very useful information. I appreciate the fact that you still make time for others while you are so busy yourself. Take care--

Barb. WOW! I scarcely know what to say other than thanks for these 3 memorials. I think I know why you threw in Grace and Herman. I didn't ask for them because I thought that they belonged to the person who'd already provided information for their memorials. The obits are a real bonus. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Butlers & Fishers in Hand County, South Dakota
Barb, I resubmitted my request for Andrew Butler's memorial (G A R Cemetery, Miller, Hand County, South Dakota) under the edit portion of his memorial. He is the one that we missed. You have done a yeoman's job in dealing with all of my requests and you can't know how much that means to me. You have been both patient and accommodating. I will remember your kindnesses. Bless you!

Thank you for keeping me posted as to what's going on. I know from what we've talked about before that you are extremely busy and that you are very involved in lots of things. I don't see how you do all that you do. Wishing you well--
