RE: Fuchs memorial
Thanks for the clarification and information. The first letter in Earl's name looked very much like a "C" in the photo of the grave marker. I've made the changes in the names and added the links to his parents.

Oscar Kendall in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Kansas

We were passing thru Concordia on my family genealogy excursion. We stopped at Pleasant Hill Cemetery and decided to do the Find A Grave requests while we were there.

I was unable to locate a burial records for Oscar Kendall. So, I did a quick lookup in the newspaper. I found an Oscar Kendall who passed away in 1978. He was, however, buried in Minneapolis, Kansas, not Concordia. I've posted the obituary to the memorial.

Unfortunately, we moved on from Kansas so I'm unable to check in that cemetery. Perhaps someone else will be able to check.

McGuire Graves
Hello, I was at Fern Hill Cemetery, Menlo yesterday and photographed a few graves for Find-A-Grave. I was unable to find the graves of Donald Roy and Mary Ann McGuire, but I did find the grave of their little son, Lawrence who passed away in 1956. I would be glad to send the photograph to you if I had your e-mail. Please let me know.

RE: Elizabeth (Lizzie) Gentry Duncan
Thanks, earlier I had found Elizabeth and Gavin Elric Duncan in but can't determine if I asked for her memorial to be linked to memorials for her parents. That requires some follow-through.

According to my old manually prepared family groups sheets, Anthony Gavin Duncan married:
(1) Vera Ann Ralph
(2) Ruby
(3) Mahala (Warren) Bryant

Unfortunately, I would need to dig deeper to locate the source for this info. Does this info agree with what you have? How do I reconcile this to wife Mary A. included on the gravestone?

RE: William Minor Gentry
You are descended from Mary Jane Estes Warren Gentry through which child?

My great grandmother was Lydia (Gentry) Reeder, sister of Robert B. Gentry.

Appreciate your help!

Sherry, do you know in what cemetery William Minor Gentry 1871-1969 and his wife are buried? He was a son of Robert B. Gentry and Mary Jane Estes.

At Masonic Cemetery in Tumwater there are three Donalds and none match your info. One is Donald S. Johnson born 8-27-1917 in Olympia and died 1-29-1990 but the obit on file has a mother Gladys. Another is Donald Johnson born 1915 died 1930. The third is Donald Lee Johnson born 1926 died 1963.
Also I did not find a marker for Verna May Johnson (1936) but the cemetery did confirm the burial location.

Thank you for your message. I always hate to disappoint people when there is not a marker. The burials in the block where he is are pretty much single spaces, and many do not have markers.

Pirtle Photo
I posted a photo of the lot for Mrs. Pirtle. Her headstone is the only one in the lot, but the photo I took of her headstone was not a clear enough photo to post. It was shaded to much and should be taken in the morning. I will post another one soon. Thank you for your patience.

Sherry, I was curious about the dates on Rhoda Burris' grave marker.... 1849 to 1959 ?????
The record you printed said her age at time of death was 99 yrs., but the grave marker suggests that she made it 10 years past that! Did someone make a mistake on the marker???

Just curious...
