|M. A. Claxton||George Marion Estes|
Thank you SO MUCH for the addition of George's middle name! I only listed him because we were in the cemetery tracking down my great-great grandmother and I wanted to list everyone for whom we found a stone. So if you would like a transfer, I am more than happy to do that - he is not kin to me as far as I know.

|Wendy Houck||RE: Clara Ensminger|
You're welcome... and thank you! Because of your request, I discovered I made a huge mistake. I already had a picture of Clara Jane's stone! I mistakenly created a memorial for "Infant" Ensminger and put Clare Jane's photo there. I corrected the name, but now there is a duplicate memorial for Clara Jane because Geniereese already created one for her. Since Geniereese created her memorial first, I am deleting mine and adding my photo to Geniereese's memorial. If you look really close, you can see it says CLARA JANE. I don't know why I didn't see that before. I even looked at this same stone again when I was at the cemetery but it's not even readable now. The photo I have was taken about 4 years ago. So thank you, thank you, very much for helping me uncover this mistake. I don't want the information I post to be inaccurate. Now I'll go back to the cemetery with some chalk and see if I can make out the verse, or at least part of it. :) Wendy Houck

Sarah has no marker. I posted a general area photo showing her location. She is buried next to Gertrude Yost d1899 at the age of 12.

|CB||Thomas McCutcheon family|
A little info answering your edit message.
The information that Willie Thompson McCutcheon was a child of Thomas B. and Kitty (Steele) McCutcheon came from a brief family record written by Maria Shields Steele (sister of Kitty McCutcheon)in 1938. She named 6 children including Willie.
In another hand-written record that appears to also have been written by Maria, she gave the locations of who was buried where in the B.F. Shields lot in the City Cemetery. At least, those who had died as of the time she wrote that. Maria died in 1963. She named Willie Thompson in that record also.
Willie's death certificate indicates female.
Pretty sure Willie doesn't have a grave marker.
According to her death certificate, Katherine Shields (McCutcheon) Cannon is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Williamson County, TN. I believe that info is accurate - and her name isn't on the map of the Shields Lot as buried there. Her 2nd husband, Sam Cannon, is also buried in Mt. Hope. They'd been married 19 years when Sam died so it makes sense she'd be buried with him.
I have added Katherine and Sam to Find a Grave and linked Kate to her parents. Not sure why I haven't added them here before now as I had the info in my family tree but it's done now.
I spelled Katherine's first name - with a "K" - as Maria wrote it in her family record.
I think that's everything I have in the way of how I know Willie was T.B. and Kitty's child - and that Kate didn't die as a child.

|SleepingDog||Eva Catherine Lee?? Steale Phlegar|
I've changed that maiden name to Steale, and also the year of her birth--her husband's birth, and added when they were married, etc.
I kept the "Lee" as part of her name, but I don't know if that's right or not. Please look over what I did and if you see anything wrong, please let me know, as I don't remember where I got my information.
A Judson Phlegar had married Elma Lancaster--who was related to my Lancaster relatives. It seems like I remember that one of the Phlegars had died while crossing a river?? as they were headed out West but his wife had survived. But I can't remember any details. It could have been Judson???
If you know any more about these people, please let me know.

Thank you for your email re: Ella's father, Jacob Lesh. I do not manage Ella's record; therefore, you should contact the contributor if you believe Ella's father is John Wesley, not Jacob. The contributor for Ella's record is the only one who can change the links to her parents.

Thanks much for pointing out her resting place. Not sure if her remains were moved, or the death record was in error. A photo volunteer recently took photos of all the gravestones at Mooseheart, and a few people recorded as being buried there did not have any markers. I will definitely check to see if they are elsewhere!

You need to call Sparkman Hillcrest and ask if your person is buried there.
They don't give findagrave volunteers burial locations but you could get one if you called on the phone at: 214 363 5401.
If he is buried there, let me know the location and I will go out there next week and fill it for you.

|RJM_2012||Ganoe in Philipsburg Cem.|
Working on your requests for James & Mary Ganoe: I was out today and took photos. Each has a footstone with the initials, and each has a headstone marker, with name on the beveled edge. Sunlight was at bad angle for me to see any other inscription, but it does not look like any was there, or if there, it is illegible at this point. I was looking for the Ganoe name to be on the face of the markers. Other Ganoes are in the area, so it seems location is a family plot of sorts.

"No, I don't know where it is located in the cemetery" is not the best line to get someone to help ya out, at least not here in Texas. Indicates a pre-emptive strike on Q n' A. Maybe "I have no idea where he is buried, possibly someone could assist me and locate the marker" would be more effective. Having said that, Mexia is my favorite cemetery, I have ur fotos but am leaving for Dallas right now for the weekend. Check back Sunday, they should be posted.
Later, James Coston

Sorry - I only have the names. I did a google search on Ner, as it was such an odd name, and if I remember correctly, I found a county biography that mentioned him and gave the children's names.
