|Bob McClelland||Daniel Frasers in Ellisburg|
Re your recent post for Rev. Daniel Ashley Fraser,1819-1882, buried in Ellisburg Rural Cemetery. I am looking for information on my ancestor Daniel Fraser/Frasier who most likely died in Ellisburg between 1817 and 1823. This Daniel married Nancy McKee in Ellisburg in 1817. Nancy married a second time in Ellisburg, to a George Brook in 1823. Thus the assumption that Daniel died somewhere between. The Fraser/McKee union produced one child, born 1818, a daughter, my gggrandmother. This lady is found in Find a Grave as Jane Ashley Fraser Murdoff. The Ashley second name is intriguing.
So the long shot. Are you aware of other Daniel Fraser's buried in Ellisburg Rural Cemetery?

Agreed - what do parents think? Must have been a family name from somewhere or a name in a novel that the mother loved. LOL

I have sent her a message

ok so I found the wife's obit and it doesn't say where she is buried and says LAMON, two census records one says LAMMON and one says LEEMON
so we are no where at the moment, will keep doing some sleuthing. Are you related? did they have any kids that lived longer than they did?

hmm, my record came from an actual cemetery transcription - that being said you never know,
at lest both cemeteries are in the same town :). Let me try to do some hunting around... short of an obit stating the burial, which likely could be correct or an actual marker photo, its hard to say where they really are

The Memorials I have requested to be transferred to me are those of my relative James Wiley Spradling and his Spradling children. James Wiley is an Uncle of my Grandmother, the great Uncle of my 1st Cousins and a son of my gr gr Grandfather.
Thank you for recording where our family members have been laid to rest 1,000 miles away and too far for most senior citizens of our family to travel to show respect to some of James Wiley's children they knew.
