Charles Hopkins
I have a photo of a Charles Hopkins from a little known cemetery south of Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada.
It reads d. Nov 6, 1915 (84 years old), so would be born about 1831.
I intend to enter that Cemetery and his tombstone photo soon. The cemetery records only show 3 burials, one of them is for my wife's Great Aunt so we know the story with her.
The Cemetery is unmarked, unfenced and unkempt, it is just a weed patch in the corner of a farmers field.
Just wanted to let you know of this in case by any chance this could fit with your Hopkins ancestors.

Have removed the other picture. I seem to recall that someone had said they made a mistake but never got back to me with the number. If you have any other information you want added let me know.

Emma Benner
Hi Heidi,

Found & photographed Emma. Also photographed Hall, Arthur (assume son), Myrtle Benner (his wife) and Beatrice Doetch. Although I first thought Beatrice was Arthurs sister, I now think she is actually his sister-in-law. Anyway, I created memorials for all and added photos.

You already have a memorial for William Calvin Benner and there are photos in place already.

RE: Jasper Crane
I am a descendant of Jasper through his son Azariah. Jasper is my 9th great-grandfather.

RE: Jasper Crane
Glad to do it. Everybody buried in the Old Burying Ground were moved to the crypt at Fairmount Cemetery, since the city of Newark had overgrown the area, and the cemetery was in bad shape. I'm just working on a data entry project this morning, attaching the picture of the monument to all to whom it applies. I did not take the picture myself, but found it on Find A Grave, and am just transferring it to those from the Old Burying Ground. Are you a descendant of Jasper, too?

John Hause Photo Request
I have covered all of the oldest parts of Zion Lutheran and taken pictures of all the Hause family members I could find. There are gaps. Many older stones are lying face down and are too heavy to move as you will see with Peter Hause's wife Margaret for whom I have not created a memorial because I am not certain the grave is hers. I have a couple of photos I cannot with certainty identify. However, your John House was not a grave I could locate. I will unclaim it, but if I find it later, I will add it. Please feel free to contact me with additions, corrections, questions.

RE: Thomas Rix
I did take pictures of other Thomas Rix - possibly in your family? Possibly son, grandson, etc?

No problem in doing it - my 5 year old LOVED running around and my husband was actually very willing to go with me - he thoroughly enjoyed it!

There are other cemeteries in the area - are you absolutely sure he's buried in Rixtown?

I will be going to Rixtown Cemetary tomorrow to take a photo of a grave for someone else. I will try to find your relative as well.

Thanks Heidi for your efforts. They must not have markers, as their obits indicate they are buried at Riverside. Thanks, Mike

Jim Childers
Sunset Memorial Park
I saw your post to Larry about Sunset. I was just there last month and the gal at the front desk gave me directions to the graves I was looking for, even drew me a map. They have them all on an Excel format on their computer. I asked why they don't post them online and she said the owner won't do it, he wants them to come into the office because they might have a crack at selling them a lot or funeral services. They have their own funeral home there.
I was looking for family members, so had no problem. Had I been doing photo requests, it may have been a different story! They probably don't like their graves being posted on Find A Grave!!
