RE: Re: Weakley
Fair enough. I'm not sure what source we had for that middle initial, so its no problem leaving it off. I only wrote because I wasn't sure if my suggestion had been overlooked. I apologize if I upset you.

RE: Millstone Cemetery
You are very welcome, please continue your good work. The pictures are fantastic! The only one I have seen I don't reconize is the Unknown Taylor. The Cemetery listing has just one in it. I wish I could be of more help to you on this one. I live near there (just not a good camera)and may stop by and try to help you identify who it is. I have many Weatherholt family members buried there. Blessings ~ Christina

RE: Re: Weakley
No, John didn't have any children himself. Catherine had children in her marriage with Guy Hiram Vickery; it was one of these children that was my wife's ancestor.

RE: The Grennans
O.k., I'll go with my own intuitive feeling here .... the Grennans don't have a headstone.
Thanks for replying so quickly!

The Grennans
Hi,
Do Joseph & Ellen Grennan have the Bernard name in their family background? There's an empty space next to the Bernard headstone but Jos. & Ellen are either buried under their own plot or have no grave marker & are in the empty site. J. & E. are interred in section B, row 2, area 7, graves 11/12; there are four Bernard names, all interred in section B, row 2, area 7, graves 5 & 8. The Grennans' and the Bernards' grave numbers indicate that they're either all in the same site or next to each other ... that is, the Bernard headstone and the empty no-headstone space for the Grennans.
If you can, please select one .... otherwise, I'm inclined to "assign" Jos. & Ellen to the empty space.
Gerry

RE: Visscher Family
I appreciate you getting the photos of the ones you could find. I was really hoping you could have found America's stone and it would have her maiden name and dates on it,but sometimes there just isn't a stone. The photo of her son's stone had his correct initials which are different than the name on the findagrave memorial, so that was really helpful. I've asked the person who created the memorial to correct his name. Thank you again for you help. Maggie

RE: OAKLAWN CEMETERY PHOTOS
The photos are great and although this started with needing grave marker photos of my own family in the cemetery there I requested those also of Revolutionary War patriots, 1812 and Civil War veterans when I came across them. Being very active in DAR, 1812 and Colonial Dames I know how valuable photos of these old markers are since time indeed is the enemy in being able to read them. Your photos will mean so much for future generations.
