Hi Carol, thank you for adding the memorial of my great uncle. I was wondering if you keep the photos of the markers that you take and post to Find A Grave. The reason I am asking is it looks likes in the center of the marker the wedding date could be engraved. I have enlarged the photo through Find A Grave but it is still not big enough to see if there is a date there or not. If you do keep the photo's could you add a close up of the marker showing the double rings and the engraving for me. Thank you so much for you time and for being a Find A Grave volunteer. Carol, Much appreciation for your time and effort in locating and photographing this marker for me. Looks like the stone is on its last legs with weathering taking its toll. At least you preserved it forever! Thank you, Ron

|Bob Carter||RE: Daniel Groover|
I sent the note on Daniel Groover primarily on the basis of who posted the burial first. Although the other one was first, you might want to contact them and let them know you have the correct burial and to delete theirs. If not, then they can transfer to you and you can maintain it in the correct cemetery.

Thanks so much for your prompt attention in taking these pictures. Kind of feels like you finally met the family members you never knew when you see a picture, even if its only of their headstone. Thanks again. God Bless.

|Lisa Eliason||Most appreciated|
I just wanted to take the time to personally thank you for the photo of John Patterson's memorial. It really means alot to me, as he is my Father, and I lost him when I was very young- while he was my only world. Some day, I will join him there, as I have the plot directly with his, but until then, it is nice to see his memorial, as I live in Florida, and cannot afford to go and visit. Thanks again so much :)

Carol, my new Findagrave Friend:
You are my hero! You have not only helped me with my great aunt's second married name, you have helped me locate where she is really buried!!! Some of the family 'thought' she was buried in Fain. I am so glad to finally put her to 'rest'. Also, thank you for the picture of her son's tombstone: George Duffey in Fain Cemetery.
The obituary you have provided is such a wonderful surprise.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for going above and beyond when all I asked for was a picture. May 2012 be full of blessings for you.

By any chance did you get those 2 other Masingill pictures? I either missed their monuments or they did not have one. You know it's strange, I've tried so hard to be thorough and then you get a second set of eyes and they help tremendously! Who knows maybe we can collaborate another time. I love that area up there. Most folks around here go North and North east Georgia. I like North West Georgia!
Have a Great Week!

Thank you so very much for the photo of the grave of Sarah Crone. It looks as if you had to wade through poison ivy to get to the grave. I really appreciate your efforts!

Thanks Carol for the 6 photos you added to memorials of the Reeves family in Reeves Cemetery, Gordon County, GA. A friend of mine is related to this family and lives far away and will be able to visit their grave sites for the first time. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated. Caretaker

Not finding a stone is sort of disappointing but I am so glad you looked. I know the family was poor; perhaps they had no money for gravestones or had wooden ones that went away. I really appreciate your looking in the beginning of winter. Warmest regards - Margie
