RE: Obituary available
I photocopy from a microfilm viewer, then I can scan the photocopy.
Due to a lot of microfilm usage, the film gets scratched, but definitely able to read.

Harry Stryker Edit
Hi James,
I hope this note finds you well. I see that you have submitted an edit for Harry Stryker in regards to his birth place. Are you using his death certificate as your source of information? I ask because I decided to not believe the death certificate as I have found a birth and christening record for him from Somerset and the family was living in Somerset at the time of his birth. I feel as though the Somerset location would be more accurate as it was submitted at the time of his birth rather than the informant's information who was filling out the death certificate at the time of his death. However, if you have other sources that indicate Mercer, please let me know and we can decide from there. I'll wait to hear from you before accepting or rejecting the edit.
All the best and happy summer,

RE: Denton Stryker
Hi James,
Thank you so much for the speedy response! One of my questions is actually about Miriam Gruber. I have copies of some of the local directories and I suspect that she might have taken his name (therefore maybe married him) for a while but at the time I wasn't sure if Miriam Stryker was Miriam Gruber. I also have a photo of Denton Stryker's father. Would you like to see any of these? If so, please drop me an e-mail at Also, do you have a copy of Denton's obituary that you might be willing to share with me? I live in Canada and it is hard for me to get access to some of the American newspapers.

Thanks again for all your help,

Denton Stryker
Hello James,
Thank you so much for the edits for Denton Stryker. He is a relative of mine that I would very much like to know more about. Are you related to him as well?

Thank you so much for the edits. Your work is appreciated.

Hi Cousin, Received your email, and thank you for pointing out some of my mistakes, have tried to correct these. I want to check out some of your family later on this site, since we are related. Thank you so much for keeping me up to date so I could make that right. Some days, things seem to be clearer than other days. I found out sometimes it's best just to name the children and leave out the years. Get most of my information from ancestry and am trying to connect everyone for our families. I think this find a grave is a lot of fun to connect family and meet more family. Thanks again, Cousin James. Stella

I just sent the picture for Thomas Cross's tombstone. According to the paper we were given from the office, the ashes of Eulalia Cross were buried there in 1986.

Deborah Reiff # 106881751
A previous tombstone inventory identified this stone as belonging to Deborah Reiff with the same birth and death dates. She is buried next to John and Sarah. I removed the link to the parents because I am not certain.

Hi James - I see you are looking for Mary's grave stone. I was in Parker once. All of the readable stones in the GAR cemetery seemed to be taken - I took them all and posted what I could read - but right across the street is another cemetery - Parker Presbyterian Cemetery - and it could be there. I found some family members in both - I think it is likely that is could be in the Parker Presbyterian Cemetery because of the date. I live in ohio or I would go look for you... and more for me - I am missing some family members too.
